Not impressed
Played 10hrs of Beta and I don't feel the game worth the price at all. I was looking for the Dark Zone Edition because of the Heather ward statue, but the game is just a new map and missions.
1. The worst part is the CPU issue. Now you can't set the priority and the affinity of the process that makes the game unplayable. The game consumes 100% of CPU, and the new anti cheat don't allow you to change the priority and affinity of the game executable process. I can't buy this game and have the same issue of The Division 1.
2. The interface design is worst than the v1. On weapon customization screen is so hard to realize that you need to double click the little square to attach mods to the weapon. The UI is a mess, is very hard to find the important things and understand what is happening.
3. Settlements looks nice, but lacks engagement. The settlements look very shallow, you don't feel like a "big safe house", just a quest hub with some facilities you have in your base. Would look better to me if you help build it and evolve.
4. Control Points are a good idea, but is just kill mobs like any other place in the map. I don't feel like it is a controlled area by a group. Is the same feeling of the battles against the mobs you fond roaming on the streets.
5. Character design has no improvements. You can't customize your character yet, the random looks show that have a low number of customizations. Not a big issue, but looks very lazy.
The game has new stuff, but looks like a DLC for v1. The full price + Season Pass for this game looks very greed. € 99,99 looks outrageous for the amount of work done on v2. Have no fixes and changes on the core of engine and the game itself. The Division 2 is only new content, no improvements to the game at all to worth pay a full price on this game. Insist in Season Pass shows that Ubisoft is just trying to get the last cents in this business model. I can't do a better review due to the CPU issue, the same issue of v1 that affect a lot of players.
