    I agree the execution is stylised and less than masterful, but the subject matter is interesting and may indeed lead to further knowledge of a hitherto unthought of or unappreciated sphere of nautical history or an awakening of erstwhile dormant appreciation of far more worthy works of art. Treat it as a doorway to expanded horizons if the pretty pictures aren't enough to satisfy.
