    Darksoul,

What weapon are you using and what is your set up? This isn't the first game. Insta heals are not a thing. There is the healing drone, tho and shotguns are a lot more viable. Give more details.

Something you are doing is not working.

I use cover but if those spastics lunatics are coming running towards you from all sides at once then you have zero use from your cover and a quick heal is also out of the question when u have to wait constantly for that stupid meter to fill up your life while the enemy is still shooting at your as
If they coming from all sides means you are just to close. I solo'd all the way to 7 und DZ 10 with no problem and in TD1 even all legendarys. In TD is everything but the incursions soloable. Ppl just need to stop that stupid rambo tactic.

First playthrough for me solo all the way up to beta lvl cap and did not have any issues, second time i played with friends and cleared main missions and now i have tried the endgame one we have access to with a group, so depending on the content you want to do it is still an option to solo the content with the exception of raid content that is coming later on.

I am not sure why... but i solo perfectly fine. I saw soooo many crying for assist while playing. I have not once. I do died but came back and play again.
What I hate the most is that people crying for assist and when I came to assist them, they are at the safe house, WTH. So i stopped assist people after that.
Anyway, the game is soloable. I did all mission on my own and also the one a day hard county. I completed the end game normal mode on my own as well. I tried the hard mode and realized I needed team so that the only thing i used team for.

when you got outgunned you'll have to fall back keep distance and recover yourself, then your best AI buddy will tell you, the supply drop has been claimed by thugs. if you keep moving around you'll get gunned down at no time at all, and there are waves after waves, comes with endless purple enemies all over the place who can endure like 10 rounds from MK17, you can't always find a good spot where you can cover all 3 caches and gunning with thugs at the same time. it ain't that much solo friendly.
some place have several entry points, only problem is, some entry points are also enemy spawn point so you get caught in a no place to hide situation. if it's indoor fight you don't even have no choice but to kill those door kickers who rushing into in your face before they kill you, but that would most likely only end up get insta killed by the second AI, right after you gunned down the first one rush out from the door.
in story mission these won't happen but some side mission and '?' mark mission were just pain in the ***. other than those forced scenarios sure you can run aournd looking for better solution, but these are some cheap design.

What AI buddy? what wave rounds? I'm simply talking about the fact that all enemies are a bunch of bullet sponges with never ending suplies of grenades which is also a very annoying fact.. The only method of winning a mission that works for me is go inside fire a few rounds to trigger them and then run outside the building again since most of the time they can't come outside and then wait for them to stick their heads out and pang pang their asses. Other than that "tactic" everything is just useless when you need like 3 clips for every enemy and still getting killed while reloading your gun. If people are liking this "frustration" mode so much then why are they simply not making this game in different difficulty modes since many people had this same issue also with D1. A bit of challenge is fine by me but not to the level that it get's ridiculous where the AI's are roaming around like T2000's. I'm not a noob when it comes to playing shooters but playing shooters on hardcore mode or something like that just isn't my cup of tea since I'm just a casual player who doesn't need bloodboiling frustration in his games. And this game just feels as if the AI is just given way to much advance. So after a few days playing i can already tell that ubisoft didn't listen to 1 word what millions of other people said about D1 and their everlasting bulletsponges and that D2 is just as D1 a games that's gonna be focused on group play and again the hell with solo players. Cause how hard can it be too balance a game that enemies are not just as hard as when you're playing in a group??

Sounds like you're just bad at the game. I didn't have any of the problems you complain about. 1 mag is more than enough to kill an enemy if you land headshots. I was able to kill 2-3 on a single mag at times. A decent sniper rifle can thin things out from a distance. Grenades can be dodged by rolling away. You get 2 assist skills (turret and drone for me). The healing drone makes you into a tank practically for a period of time and the turret is great for a distraction and taking care of a few enemies here and there.

Are you trolling? Because so far no one else here including myself has had any problem solo playing. In fact the game gets harder when you bring your friends in. I've found the lack of quick heals more enjoyable making me think more then just running in to a crowd like you could in the first division and just heal up.

maybe you aren't that good or something. i alright at the game, no super amazing or anything, but i played mostly by myself on the division 1. i spent tons of time in the darkzone and very rarely had issues. you have to think a bit at times, sure it can be tricky, but i always managed. i do hate how the ai knows EXACTLY where you are when it's not possible they should. toss a turret up run 150 feet away, 10 seconds later they see it and instantly bum rush you. i find this completely unrealistic, but it is what it is.

i would meet a few people sometimes in the darkzone and team up with them, but maybe 70% of the time was solo. i eventually quit when approaching max gear because it felt pointless. like what is the point of constantly farming and rolling to gain a few stat points? i could play another 150 hours to gain what is basically nothing, i just don't see the point. i guess if you are playing pvp hardcore or something, but for pve i had no issue with close to max. the gear bonuses made the bigger differences.
