    Again NOT solo playable ??

In a video from 1 of your devs I heard that this part was FINALLY solo playable. But again your just nothing but a bullet sponge when 3 or more enemies come towards you with only 1 lvl higher than you are...If Division 2 has the same anti solo player boelshjt as part 1 than I'd rather hear it RIGHT NOW BEFORE I decide to waste my money again on a game that becomes useless as soon as my friends loose interest in it just like with part 1. Just skip that stupid crap where you wanna force people to play in a group so that solo players are sjit outta luck. If the ai in the demo is already just as overpowered as the ai in part 1 and stays that way again then i'm just gonna skip this game which is really a shame since the game itself is enjoyable enough despite these facts.

Explore the LZ properly and gear up before starting missions. And before starting main missions, make sure you have done all the other side missions in that area first, ie control points especially. When I got to the second story mission I was level 7 facing level 5 enemies - was a walk in the park so to speak.

i soloed the entire beta so far to max level and had zero issues.just like i did in the fist game. this game, as it was with the first game,is easily solo-able. when you find yourself out gunned, retreat, take cover, heal, lay down your skills, and fight back. I have no idea how you are playing this game, but this game is HIGHLY cover based. If you think you can just run in like rambo and kill everything, then you will die every time.

The AI in The division 1 are not overpowered and as for this Beta iv'e soloed most of it, only times iv'e died has been my own fault, some of it trying to act like it's The Division 1 easy face tank.

Iv'e ran around the Free roam small area at level 30 outside the invaded mission taken down 2 named as well as multiple other enemies(it's quite fun) if you know not to run n gun like TD1.

You CAN play it solo as long as you adjust your playstyle for a few things:

    1. You must use cover. Avoid cover that's only small as grenades can shoot to either side and still take you out.
    2. Grenades never miss, so shoot them or avoid them.
    3. If you let yourself get flanked then you're probably going to die.
    4. You can call for help in certain fights and NPCs will fight for you while taking some of the damage.
    5. Clear each area in turn and do all side missions. Don't rush ahead or of course you will die, you're the wrong level.

The biggest problem with the grenades is that you get no warning if you don't see them coming. The area should be red before it hits. Also, the AI should have a limited amount of grenades

    Pretty much easily solo'd it.

Not too many problems. Only times I really died were from overconfidence and sometimes teleport spawns.

As for the Lvl 1-7 campaign. Do all the missions and proceed slowly. This time around the side missions and control points matter. Don't ignore them so you can go to the DZ as fast as possible. You need to actually play the solo campaign this time around. Also take advantage of the shd caches and other rewards. They all add up and can make or break a character. Also the Super 90 and M870 are godly in this phase. If you get one and it is up to level. Use it. SMG's and AR's are lackluster. People are too used to the Div 1 where these were the go to weapons. The MPX I got from the DZ was really good, but I waited until I was max level (lvl 7) to get it. I think they give it to you to extract and it is a good weapon.

For the endgame mission. The Black Tusk is no joke at this point. Don't underestimate them. They can overwhelm you in a heartbeat. I got lucky on the 2 characters I played so far and got an SRS in my inventory. One headshot with that thing can take out a red and nearly kill a purple. Marksman rifles are now useful.

The fix should be followers, AI partners to simulate a 4 man team. Let the player kit them out how they want, skills and such. Solo does make the content 4x harder.

Not saying I don't like challenging content, but we are in the same situation as Div1, spongy enemies with shotguns that just rush you and win since it takes 3 clips to down them. How to fix this? More enemies that are less spongy, better AI tactics, enemies follow the same rules the player has to, skill CDs, can use armor kits, etc..

Yeah well duh!! I use cover but if those spastics lunatics are coming running towards you from all sides at once then you have zero use from your cover and a quick heal is also out of the question when u have to wait constantly for that stupid meter to fill up your life while the enemy is still shooting at your as. A normal quick medipac type of healing would be much nicer. And sure when you're level is 2 levels higher than the ai the game is a walk in the park. But whenever you face an enemy who is just only one lvl higher than you are, they feel as if your'e fighting a boss lvl enemy. My point is that this game still doesn't feel right balanced to play solo when the enemies are just as strong as when you play in a group. And when that dev was speaking about the fact that part 2 was gonna be better playable solo than part 1 I thought they finally listened to all the backlash they got from part 1 who was almost impossible to play on your own without some help. But so far i see no difference.

Exactly this!! Less spongy enemies that keep running around as if they are all a buncha T-2000's The only spongbob's should be the gang bosses which is fine by me since a boss should be a challenge. And if you feel all dumb and brave and pick a fight with an enemy that is waaaay above your own level than it's your own dumb fault if you keep dying. And indeed make some kind of warning for grenades just like d1 had when you see the ground around you starting to glow red as a hint that you must dive away since you can't keep your eyes on every enemy you're fighting with.
