"End Game" content convinced me to cancel preorder

    Tried solo = can't do ****
Tried in group = even worse

Not sure if premade characters are ****ty or enemies too f*** unbalanced

Skills do not matter and deploying turret / seeker mine is a waste of time
Weapons do no damage / needs 2 mags to kill a single mob and at the same time I die in two shots.

I have just tried the end game and actually thought it is awesome. Enemies are tough, that's true, but because of their tactics. I was using yellow gear, so they were not bullet sponges for me. It got me some dying to figure out how to outsmart them. But once I did, it was fun. Challenging, but fun.

I agree with challenging but fun, with as mentioned in another thread, the "normal" turret and the healing drone and not the horrid other skills.

I also could not use the signature weapon because it required ammo which was not there ever to pick up.

I also did not use the horrid forced scoping that makes it impossible to compete against multiple attacks at the same time along with airborne drones.

Then, and only then, was there some fun involved.

This was solo, so far as sniper, which is meaningless as the signature weapon is useless with no ammo and the "special" grenade is hardly any better.

because of their tactics? you mean, they move ahwen you reload and end in cover when you completed reloaded each and EVERY TIME? that is not tactics, that is stupid. They hit HARD, too hard. Drones, all over the place which get you every time. If they do not, the soldier is hiting you? balance is way off.

I cancelled as well. The end game was disappointing. You cant do much solo. Even worse for me was the ghosting effects of the UI. When you open any menu it starts out blurry, then distorts, then comes into focus. Not only does it look like garbage it was very hard on the eyes. Then there is the severely low FOV just made for an unenjoyable experience.

my experience in a group at the invaded mission was intense and challenging but also addictive fun at the end we did it ) yikes! would have been disappointing if that mission could be done easily and fast. I think that's good stuff for TD-agents! playing a mission on normal is a way too easy, playing on hard or the evaded mission is very tough but that's the challenge i like and expect from TD2 )) great!

Only played it on normal but it was probably what we expected.
We found it pretty easy at level 7 but at level 30 even decked out with all that fancy gear we had some deaths here and there but no full wipes.
The "Boss" of the mission died too fast tho. Normal Heavys felt harder.

Overall the special red ammunition drops were way too rare.
The sniper ones seem to die when killing enemies through headshots. We have not figured out how we get grenade launcher ammo.

That's funny, because I completed it solo on 2 toons: Sniper and grenade guy. You just need to play smart. The enemies are extremely predictable and even announce what they're going to do "DEPLOYING UAV!" <- Shoot them and they explode and kill the person launching them.

Don't sit in 1 spot due to grenades and move cover to cover. This strategy beats anything in the game.

You get it by killing enemies with grenades.
