Sound issues (pretty serious i think)

I have i& 6700K, with 32GB Ram. I'm running on a gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 7 Motherboard using the built in Creative sound chip. Soundblaster Recon3i. Latest drivers on a fresh install of Windows 10 (installed 1 week ago with minimal other apps). All drivers are up to date. 10.0.17134.1 is the speaker driver version from device manager. Again, it's the latest from the gigabyte site.

The first time this happened was in the DZ. Heavy fighting lots of noise. The sound driver just sort of blew out. you could still hear sounds but were terribly modulated. No other lag issues just the sound was scratchy and awful. I exited and the sound issue persisted to the desktop. After a reboot everything was fine.

Second time was in the end game mission. Sounds just sort of lost the background? Not sure what all is missing, but music is gone, gun sounds come and go, it's really really quiet. I hear the stupid "backup request" just fine...a little modulated, but the way it always sounds.

Another issue related to the end game, is that the SR-1 with first blood isn't working. It's still red even when I equip the 12x scope. I didn't check if it was on in the beginning, but noticed it was off after swapping the scope.

    thanks

I don't play pc, but I too had problems with sound while playing my xbox one. The firing sound of a my Aug A3-CQC weapon comes and goes as well as my Military L86 LSW weapon.

    Sound disappearing

I'm on Xbox one and when there were alot of shooting all the sound disappeard except the music. But sometimes I lost all the sound. Sometimes the sound came back but only for a little bit. The issue could be fixed by restarting the game. But the same issue could happen again if there were alot of fighting.

I'm on xbox one and have no game sound now and then I'll here my gun fire. It makes gameplay pretty hard as you can't hear anything. This has been happening all day since the maintenance break. Switching the game on and off makes no difference.

Sound disappears, first guns, then my characters ambient sounds, ie. Footsteps, climbing etc. Then other things start to fade away as well, bullet impact, reloading. The only thing that eventually is audible is the music. Funny too because you dont even notice the music until that's all you can hear.

    Bloody flies

The sound went in mine and my mates different times, only certain sounds could be heard, like just a fly. We are on the ps4, been playing since about 12.30 UK time and only really happened the last couple of hours.

When I first loaded up the PC beta I had no sound at all while in the game. The launch and load splash panels were fine but no sound when my agent hit the ground. Tracked the issue to the Windows Sonic for Headphones spatial advanced option. Turning off spatial sound fixed the problem.
