Div 1 impacted from Div 2 Beta? | Forums

Has anyone else had their Div 1 affected since installing Div 2 Beta?

Now I get sporadic lockups (in Div 1) where the game literally freezes solid for about 5-7 seconds, then resumes like nothing happened. Sometimes when I exit the game it just restarts.

I had never seen either of these issues prior to yesterday.

And now I've seen something I've never seen before: an invisible Rioter! For real! The red arrow was there, he was shooting at me and talking, but nothing to be seen of him. I am kicking myself for not starting the video recording.

When I uninstall the Beta at the end of this weekend I hope that whatever it changed in Div 1 is not permanent. The game was very stable for me prior to this.

Hi sock, I haven't had the D2 beta, but the game has been lagging alot since they launched the beta. A bit of a coincidence I think.

Most possibly those cheapskates are using the same servers for TD2-Beta as they do for TD1 and obviously they can't handle the server load. Games as a service, my foot!
