I had this on a list in a prior thread (might have been a thread itself now that I think about it, anyways...). It is a large enough issue it needs its own thread (possibly again). Allow matchmaking for DZ while IN the DZ!
I don't think people realize how big a deal this is...if DZ is your planned endgame (like Div1), this needs to happen. If anyone in a group runs across a solo or group with less players, what is more likely to happen? Go rogue and take their loot if they have any, or leave them be? It's rhetorical, of course, weighing the logical reality of the situation, a group with more players will almost always rogue on a group/solo with less players. Matchmaking inside the DZ for the DZ will promote a more even playing field.
In this private beta players can't even matchmake for the DZ, not sure why but whatever. If using matchmaking, it still takes quite a bit of time to find other players unless matchmaking for a main mission. NO ONE LIKES TO WAIT. I and I'm sure others don't want to sit outside a DZ entrance AGAIN (like Div1), use matchmaking and hope others are doing the same thing.
Let players enter the DZ, initiate matchmaking at their discretion. When a group, other players are found, the player will get a prompt to accept/deny the group invite (just like a main mission), however, if the player is rogue or in combat, they will not be transported until either status is resolved. If they have contaminated gear on them, once again, they make the call. Let's say they choose to accept the invite, then the contaminated gear is lost (subject to change, would need other opinions on this).
