Game will not Launch, no errors

Tried to get the game going yesterday and the game 'launches' and the splash screens come up showing loading bars etc, but then they disapear and nothing....i have left it for an hour, and still nothing. The game itsself and uplay seems to see the game as running. The game can be seen in task manager in background processes using only 124.9MB of ram and no other resourses.

I have re-installed the game and the same problem persists. Tonight i will be disabling other apps to try and get it to run, any advice?

    Very fustrating

    THanks in advance.

    Start WIN+R -> eventvwr
Navigate to -> Windows Logs -> Application

Start "The Division 2", refresh the Eventlog und look what happened.

I hade a similar issue with the error "Faulting application name: bad_module_info, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000"
The reason was my anti Virus scanner:

    I have also:

    Validated files
    Stopped Discord
    Stopped iCUE
    Stopped MSI Afterburn
    Disabled AV (Sophos)
Stopped Origin, Battle.net, steam and epic
    Stopped Geforce Experiance.
    Stopped Onedrive
    Stopped Citrix
    Stopped intel driver update

And it now boots to a black screen.

I will now have to isolate whioch of the above moved me along....

Origin was stopping mine starting, so i now have to look at the black screen issue. I will try restarting it a few times, thanks.

I have a similar issue. Even from a cold boot, after I start the UBISOFT client and then start Division 2, I get an error message that the game is already running. Is the some sort of cached value somewhere that would cause this behavior?

I ran the game successfully yesterday for several hours, not knowing about the caution to restart it every couple of hours, and it crashed hard. I had to shut it down via the 3-finger salute (ctrl-alt-del), and have been unsuccessful in restarting it, even after uninstalling and re-downloading it.
