Would be nice with some context what people are running graphics cards are not an instant win on frame rates these days it also has to do with Processors amount of cores and RAM on the PC and the Mother boards front side bus how much load it can handle, so just boasting i have this card it should be instant win is just not the only factor at all, if you are running a old i7 core with maybe 2.5GHz processor and not optimal setup for that you will get bottle necking and with entirely new hardware not all developers and or hardware manufacturers have optimal drivers out yet.
I am using the i7 6700k no bottle necking with my GTX 1080 at all, however i am also running a 144Hz screen so not extremely high resolution max is 1920x1080, i am getting smooth gaming frames in game, and have had at times weird issues but those seem to be sound related and i have a MB with onboard sound from Realtek so big surprise it could have issues.
So, gameplay is fluid for me, I'm getting constant 60 fps, but that's it. With my specs, I should IMO max out at like 100 maybe 120 fps. I haven't compared my FPS with what I get on Divsion 1 but on Division 2, 60 fps, despite not having a framerate cap on, is the max I get. On Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege, I can get 100+ fps consistently, even though I admit that those games are a bit older in terms of graphics.
My main specs:
Asus H110M-D Mainboard
Intel Core i5 7600 3.5 GHz Kaby Lake
16 GB RAM DDR 4 2133 MHz
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB DDR 5 PCI-E
Screen resolution is 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz
