A little over kill with the Ads, arent we?

I see i'm Bombarded with Advertisements now. I'm all for ads as a way to make revenue however the full screen with audio ads (as i have my game settings to sound off) really are quite annoying.

If you are like me it will be hard, but I finally bit the bullet and put some money into the game to get rid of ads. Any single purchase, no matter how small, will end ads forever.

I bought a €1 200 gem pack, as a small thank you after 3 years of playing. Got rid of the ads (except in game purchase ads for costumes etcetera)

    Yes Shulhan,

Any in-game purchase will discard the ads.

    Didn't work for me

I made several purchases during my playtime and still have so much adds that sometimes I send curses to devs! Seems it doesn't work for everybody. Maybe it's the country\region stuff?

I have made lots of purchases and I did have the ads removed. But during the last couple of weeks I've been having lots of add pop-ups. Specially when starting the game.

    Ubi Bullsh1t

So, here is the result of Ubi's support INVESTIGATION, as they called it, demanding on making screens of adds, purchase checks etc. They checked my acc, my purchases, my advertisements, escalated my case several times... And the answer is: "As I see, those advertisement pop-ups are COMMON for all Ubisoft games, and it CANNOT be turned off by making an ingame purchases. I'm very sorry". Don't be sorry! Just don't lie on forums that "any ingame purchase turns off adds". Just say that any ingame purchase turns off SOME adds, leaving what we consider appropriate. And mind that what you consider appropriate and common adds and pop-ups is actually a pretty HUGE amount of annoying useless advertisement!

WTF that's total BS. Ubi doesn't even know what their own games are supposed to do.

This has happened before. Suddenly some pop-up adds start appearing, and there is a discussion regarding if those are to be considered adds (sure they are).
You can find messages form CaptainWeelie saying oine thing and the other:

Secondly, the Hungry Shark ads are not related to a purchase, since these ads are more of a ‘pop-up’ and not a video (or static) ad.
Your purchases would block all ads such as videos and static but not pop-ups!
Again, we’ve reduced the frequency of those pop-up ads and you’ll not be seeing them even half as much

As a token of apology to our players who should not have been seeing ads (thanks to their purchase/s), we've added the Hillbilly Killer outfit in your inventory. We hope you have killer races after receiving the outfit Please do select the 'Server Save' option once the save-prompt shows up.

I'm not sure about this, but at some point I got the impression that a solution was triggered after some users started to contact apple regarding breach of contract issues...
