OK....
This time, it happened again so I deleted the file from the games folder entirely, rebooted, re-verified (This redownloaded that file) and relogged the game.
It ran for a little longer this time, but still CTD'd and gave me an EAC error. However the error was now for a new file (See SS below)
I will attempt to completely re-install the game overnight and see if this fixes these EAC errors as clearly verifying without deleting isn't helping. I'll update again sometime tomorrow.

Have same problem, i got it down to it being something with loading.
Game will freeze, hop down to windowed and then ctd.
I can get it to do it constantly if i open up the chat window and select the text to speech or speech to text option.
It tries to load something and the game will crash right away.
A re-install didn't help either.
So after that, I tried going back to my previous step, of removing the offending file that is triggering EAC and reverifying.
It basically went through every file in the games root folder until I had replaced them all, one by one. After that process, it still crashes but doesn't provide me with any further EAC errors, just a silent death.
Seemingly quite a common error then, without much reasoning for why or predictability.
Perhaps this is down to EAC not being able to check the correct file definitions? Even after forcibly removing the offending files, reverifying and launching it still crashes.
There is no option as yet to reinstall EACs definitions directly through the EAC update tool as The Division 2 doesn't yet exist in their install list within the app.
The beta is just about done, hopefully an admin will add this to the dev teams bug tracker/known issues list? I'd like to be able to see whether it gets nailed and fixed before release. Some follow up would be great.
Personally I can't justify buying the game if this error continues post release, as it makes the game entirely unplayable.
I've also had several CTD's within 2 hours of playing. However, I'm not getting any pop-up saying what went wrong, only the send crash report popup. Had the same issues with the first Division game, so I guess whatever was wrong then persisted into this game. I've tried lots of things to no avail back then and now, including re-install drivers (clean), updating bios, starting the game from the GeForce experience and windowed and borderless windowed mode.
