Hi there guys,

I've suffered from repeated CTD's. This happens after playing for around 10mins or less, although once it happened before the game finished loading up.

This has occurred in DX11 and 12, with default settings and personalised settings.

I've tried playing about 9 times so far, each time with a CTD. I wasn't provided with the option to upload a crash report etc. On one occasion, the graphics driver also crashed and forced me to have to reboot my PC to be able to regain control of my desktop.

When the game isn't forcing me back to the desktop the performance is good and input is solid and fast. Graphics look great and audio sounds brilliant. Without the CTD's it would be a good experience.

==UPDATE==
As described in the following posts, with SS. It seems this issue is tied to EAC checking valid file versions during play and failing, forcing a CTD. This provides an error from Easy Anti-Cheat stating various .dll files are invalid. Verifying files, reinstalling the game, reinstalling EAC and systematically deleting and replacing offending files has no effect. Still a CTD is performed.

After trying numerous suggestions and altering numerous settings, before and after the patch. I am still having these constant CTD's with no understanding of why.

I did however, have the option to upload crash data on a couple of occasions since the patch. Though I can't seem to locate Uplay's crash file to see if I could find out why it's happening on my end.

Hey thanks for the update. Is there anything specific happening in-game before you crash? Are you in combat or in a certain area?

i am having same issues, and it happens randomly not doing anything specific, sometimes in combat sometimes out of combat

Yeah it does that, it's a feature.

Same problem sometimes 2-3 hours others 5 minutes. Nothing consistently seems to occur before the crash.

I'm having the same issues. The last time i was able to get till the 2 opponents at the beginnning. Throwing a grenade on them, resolved to a CTD.
I don't know what the problem is, but i wasn't able to play the game more then 5 minutes.

Core i7-4770 @ stock
16 GB DDR3 RAM of G.Skill
Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 Board
550W be quiet Dark Power Pro 11
Sapphire Vega 64 Nitro+

The issues was stronger in DX12. With that option activated, i wasn't able to start the game. It crashed right before the game started. I hope, this problem can be solved.

Thanks for your response here.

There's nothing in particular happening at all. On the last few attempts I did different things to ascertain whether there was any particular event triggering the crash.

I attempted staying at the spawn in location, not moving at all, touching no inputs and it lasted 6 minutes.
I stayed in the BO and it lasted less than 5 minutes.
Also attempted running straight down the road from the BO, and weaving streets from the BO, each instance of this the game CTD'd after 2-6 minutes of gameplay.

There has been one instance where the game has stayed logged into the server and in the game world for twenty minutes. This occurred when I was alt-tabbed to desktop to help a friend with Uplay. The game was minimised and there was no focus on the window. However, within about 45 seconds of bringing focus back to the game, it again directly CTD'd.

I've attempted running in windowed mode after this last instance in the hope that would solve the issue but again, it lasted around 5 mins.

A further update,

This evening I attempted to play as part of a party. To see if the game would sustain it's connection during group play.
It lasted around 10 minutes.

However, this time when the game crashed I received and error from Easy Anti-Cheat.
The error explained that there was an unknown file version.

The file being "tobii_gameintegration_x64.dll"
Sorry I didn't take a screenshot for it so can't tell you the exact error message.

I attempted to verify the game files, to see if that fixed this.
It did not and I got the same error again, which this time I managed to SS, see below.
