    DLC content downloaded

In the last 2 weeks... or so, I've played like once Far Cry IV but Uplay is downloading 5.5 GB every 1-3 days, which I think it's the Season Pass content. Why would be the question that I've been asking myself during this time, and the answer would be... "No idea". I hope you can check this, since it's a little bit annoying.

Try reinstalling UPlay, and/or running UPlay as administrator and hit "Verify game Files", My guess is the client doesn't register the content was downloaded successfully, so it'll restart the download again and again.

I cannot play any Ubisoft game now on Uplay without Far Cry 4 downloading 4.67 GB's of data. Everytime I launch Uplay, it does this.

I have run Uplay as Administrator and even uninstalled and reinstalled it. Nothing stops the constant update downloads. If this is happening to people with bandwidth caps, Ubisoft could be looking at a class action lawsuit soon.

I'm guessing I have to uninstall Far Cry 4 until this gets fixed.

This and the constant autosave stutter in Far Cry 5 means I'm done with buying another Ubisoft game.

Edit: Okay, I can turn off automatic updates for Far Cry 4, but if I want to play Far Cry 4, I have to either download a 650MB patch or a 4.67GB patch.

    WTF is going on?

Thank you for reaching out to report this issue! I see another thread asking about a ~5GB update, so I'm having this looked into. Does verifying your game in Uplay help?

I have tried verifying files and no corrupt files were found. I have even uninstalled Uplay AND Far Cry 4 and reinstalled them. An update is still needed every time I try to launch Far Cry 4.

Hello, thank you for your answer but you're mistaken if you think that I asked for your help. All I did was to say that Uplay has a problem with Far Cry IV that I can't solve by myself and I hoped that the people who work on the client could take a look and maybe solve it. I hope this help you understand better on where the problem trully is.

    Have a nice day,

I think they messed something in the FC IV checking system since the lastest client update. Every Uplay client update fixes something and breaks something else, which is pretty sad but well it's Ubisoft we're talking about... I have 2 friends that wanted to finish FC IV and for a strange reason... they had this issue before me, since... I never to take notice of it. But... in the last two weeks, I really got bored with seeing how many times FC IV wants to update the same 1.10 patch and the same DLC content :P Also considering that I've finished the game.... like years ago :P

Could anyone upload and link a screenshot of the update as it's occurring?

I see FC4 updates daily .. either 680MB or 168MB or both .. sumthin' is loopin'
Reinstall Uplay and verifying files did not help

Here is my update in progress link:

If you are stuck in the update loop check your Games\Ubisoft\Far Cry 4\uplay_download folder (or wherever your FC4 folder is) and delete all contents - then disable auto update in Uplay. This should fix the issue permanently!
