I was having the same problem, though usually mine ended with a crash 15seconds later (Start, black screen, got some sound, then crash). I decided then to check to see if Nvidia had a new drivers and there was one! Updated and now the game won't even start
i7 8700k 4.7Ghz, 1080ti AMP Extreme, 16Gb RAM DDR4 3200Mhz, SSD Samsung 970 Pro.
I am using a Ryzen 2 system with RX 580 display card. Radeon software ver. 19.2.1 which is the latest version.
Game starts into a windowed mode by itself, it is a blank, complete darkness window. I hit alt+enter a few times the game will crashes and back to desktop.
Update: I disabled IN-Game Overlay on Uplay and my game is running now.
Same exact issue here, with the difference i am on i5 6600k and 1080 GPU..Originally Posted by Starbag. Go to original post
I opened a ticket, but I guess is a known issue at this point.. too bad, no luck for me to test further![]()
Same black screen everyone describes.
AMD Ryzen 2600

Windows 10 Pro
Launch Uplay and upon first launch of the beta application I get an update pop up, game launcher does its update with no error code followed by a Direct X install. After that is complete I get an Anti Cheat window application pop up and fade away. The only thing that happens after what I just described is a black bordered window titled Division 2 beta sits there. I can hear the game launching with audio FX but no animation, nothing.
Yeah. The game should work WITH Steam, Discord, overclocking tools and RGB software ENABLED. If it doesn't, then maybe you should've spent more time and money actually testing it better before releasing it to paying customers. "It's a BETA" is a pretty ****ty excuse. If a game is not ready - delay it! I'd rather wait for a polished product.
