Clash was released to be a counter to hard pushes, also tok balance the shield meta on defense. Now, if you're the last one alive you have close to zero chance of clutching. If you're playing Clash properly, that's a highly likely scenario btw..

When clash first came out, I was so excited to have a shield on defense to play with. I'm a huge shield enthusiast. My hero, my dads friend, was the shield man on their Sheriff SWAT Team. I have played shields ever since, on R6 as well as other Ubisoft Games.

Over, and over again, Ubisoft continues to slowing kill shields through a slow and excruciating "death by 1000 nerfs". I'm to the point where I'm asking myself: Does the Dev team even play the game..

I think it's highly ineffective to try to adjust the game meta, with reagard to shields, by making so they can be shot through their shield, mele killed through their shields, etc.. Not to mention making them so slow that they cant even protect themselves in a fight effectively. I think Ubi is driving more people away than the very vocal minority they are trying sooo hard to placate..
