    Return of the Sponges

Ok I know this is beta that is about to released and maybe I'm jumping the gun here but Ubi has to know that players hate this type of game play. It is redundant, ridiculous and makes zero sense. Thoughts?

Marcos analysis on the Black Sponge begins approximately at 12:25

    https://www.gamespot.com/articles/th.../1100-6464764/

"The skirmishes with Black Tusk during the two missions we played were intense and required some solid communication from our team to make it through. However, the invaded missions also felt a bit exhausting as well, leading to some moments where we were trapped in a room for up to 10 minutes dropping squads of bullet-spongy enemies as they funneled in. Though this is often the case for endgame content, it definitely hurt the pacing of some otherwise thrilling missions."

"The one aspect I was concerned by was just how spongy everything felt. While I realize the new armor system has pieces break off exposing weak points, it still took a very long time to make a dent in any tougher enemy."

Stack EAD and DTE, just like in Division 1. I don't expect anything else will replace those as staples.

I saw the videos showing that the enemies at the end game seem to be spongy and I admit, I was disappointed to see that. I will wait and play it before final judgement.

Not sure that is an option in TD2

One thing to remember is that they didn't have optimised gear. They were just playing in random top level stuff.

I'm sure that they'll still be spongey, but just not quite as bad as the vids.
We'll also be able to optimise skills and upgrades before we face these enemies.

Personally, I was more concerned by the enemies floating around and teleporting when the servers aren't under any strain. What's it going to be like when a few million players are in there?
It's also worrying how many times enemies randomly spawn in behind the teams after they've just cleared those areas.

Hopefully, by the time we've got to the end-game, these enemies will be more balanced. Hopefully

Since you posted Macro's video the thing that should worry people is that the same bugs that were in the original game are still in the game he played. Guess what the bugs that were in the original beta ended up in the original game and now the sequel.

    This.

It boggles my mind how they have TD1 Beta bugs and TD1 game bugs in TD2.

Too spongy. Too many NPCs to fight. Too long. Loot not good enough.

Smh... The devs do it to themselves.

I just want to be able to heal on the move and not have it interrupted. And my VOIP.

They are, as well as weak point damage.
