Please tell me the cut scenes will be skippable

    The title says it all.

I am really hacked off by FC% and the unskippable cutscenes.

First time round there was some value / interest to them but I feel the unlimited amount of replays I have had with FC4 has been stripped away from me in FC5.

As a result I shall wait and see if scenes are skippable and if not I will wait on bargain bin prices before I try it

I agree, played campaign on 3 different platforms and wanted to skip lots after seeing them the 1st time around.
Very painful having to play through the first part for those just wanting to unlock Arcade / PvP although I enjoyed the cut scenes 1st time round would love a skip option.

    I'm on PC

I'm not sure if this works with consoles (if you're on one) or not, but will throw it out there.

The game intro cut scene though well done, and a good explanation of the lead into the game is hellishly long.

I've sat/played through it, and the Dutch's Island tutorial. As soon as I finished the last objective on Dutch's Island I quit out of the game to my desk top; which creates a save game/point.

UPlay/Far Cry saves (for me) are located in E:/Program Files/Ubisoft Game Launcher/savegames/2e6d407f-2113-4577-beed-4fa3e73509f4/1803 (1803 being the FC 5 save folder on my system).

I copy and pasted the two save files in folder 1803 to a separate folder I created (call it whatever you like).

Any time you want to start a new play through; you can skip the intro cut scene and Dutch's Island tutorial by:

Go to the 1803 folder and delete the two save files of your current game.

Copy the two save files in your "separate save file" and paste them into file 1803.

Start Uplay in offline mode, when you get to the main FC 5 menu screen click on "continue" and your game will start (at the end of the Dutch's Island tutorial for me [NO INTRO CUT SCENE OR TUTORIAL!])

Play your game to where you get to ANY fast travel point in ANY of the three FC 5 game world areas (you have to get to at least one or when you quit out of FC 5 your game will revert back to (the end of Dutch's Island in my case).

Quit out of FC5/Uplay completely which will create/overwrite the no intro saves in file 1803 with a new save/point.

Restart UPlay in online mode--you'll get a prompt asking if you want to use your local save or the cloud save.

Select the "local save" which will overwrite the old cloud save with your new game.

Play your new "no intro/tutorial game" normally from here on!

BTW: I can escape out of the innumerable in game snatch and grab cut scenes (except for the first "Faith" one ) by hitting the Esc key a couple time. Not sure how you'd do it on a console controller.

    Hope this helped!

Well I play my Far Cry games on PS3 and PS4 platforms and in the case of FC5 all I have to do is "press the OPTION button" then the back button and right there in the lower right game screen is the prompt to PRESS SQUARE TO SKIP.

i have played FC5 6 or 7 times through now and never watch all the cut-scenes, just the ones I like.

It depends on if its a cutscene or just the game rendering a scripted scene of you moving around in the engine. I get it though, playing new game plus and would love to skip all the intro stuff and all the capture sequences from the Seed family
