Was it not the Private Beta you could register for?Originally Posted by SplayGiraffe729 Go to original post
If so, the Private Beta is the 7th of February. Not sure when participants are told if they have been picked to participate.
What I find curious for such a private beta , so many different non pre order sites are selling codes for $3.00 or so.
Heck some ytbrs are giving away tonnes of them, because those sites were giving them out to promote their site via ytbe.
So where did those sites get all their codes.(only place I can see is from UBI handing them out) so why make it Private.
As for an open Beta there should be one if EA can do one why not UBI.

It's like opening a snobbish upper-class, hoity-toity private pool to the working class masses for a limited time freebie week-end........you just know that's gonna turn into a train-wreck! At least with the private beta they can control player numbers and are guaranteed a dedicated playerbase as opposed to those who are just there to drop snickers bars and packets of blue kool-aid in the deep-end of the pool, sit back and watch the fireworks.
I am speculating but I believe there will be an open beta with the primary goal of serving as a sever stress test/marketing-at-large. Announcing and open beta too soon takes away from the closed beta to generate maximum interest and stimulate pre-orders as much as possible. I predict an open beta roughly 2 weeks prior to release.
If you want this game to be successful you better offer one.Originally Posted by Ubi-Lucipus Go to original post
