The lighting isn't quite right.
It doesn't matter what the intensity or distance is. its not right.
If a general omnilight is used as a wall light for example, maybe with RGB at 175/155/135, intensity at 0.5 and render distance at 15 metres, its not right.
There should be a distinct glow around the lamp, maybe extending by between 1 to 2 metres and after that there should be a much flatter gradient of light extending to probably 10 to 20 metres.
As it is, its not realistic because the gradient seems to be linear, which is not the case in real life. There is a very sharp drop in the curve after the heat/light intensity value but then a very steady (almost ambient) light which extends a very long way, even with low intensity light sources.
Please implement correct lighting in the next Far Cry map-editor.
ALso, please imple, ent some coding so that light cannot diffuse through vertical walls into the next room when there is no realistic way of it occurring. Example, place a horixontal and a vertical wall in any map, paint it with any texture which has any kind of reflective qualities. Put an omnilight on one side of the wall and the other side of the wall will be light reflecting all over the floor. Not realistic. Please fix it.
