So after the Black Prior update, For Honor doesn't start anymore. When I run the game, it opens up the splash screen, but after a few seconds the splash screen closes and nothing happens, I'm returned to Uplay. The game isn't running in the background, as the "Play" button is available as soon as the splash screen crashes and when I click it, the error happens again.
I tried reinstalling the game, verifying the game, updating GPU drivers, updating Windows, deleting the options.ini file, running the game in admin mode, but nothing helped, the same exact thing happens. I don't even get an error code or anything, the game just doesn't start. Verifying the game only updates directx and one other component but that doesn't fix the issue.
Any help would be appreciated as right now I'm unable to play the game. I think the problem is related to Easyanticheat but I can't be sure. Rainbow 6 Siege seems to be working just fine.
Here's a gif of what happens: https://gfycat.com/UnitedPoorDwarfmongoose

So after a few day i have got a response from the ubisoft support team here are the question that i have asked
"1 Is this bug/problem acknowledge by ubisoft?
2 Is this really a bug or did they cut the support on those CPUs?
3 When will it be fixed if its not a cut of support of the CPUs?"
Here is there response:
"Hello ThrustBigBlast,
Thank you for updating your case.
This issue has been forwarded to the development team already, who is currently working on fixing it as soon as possible."
So its not a cut of support on older CPUs its a bug , lets just hope they fix it quickly
Thanks UbisoftOriginally Posted by ThrustBigBlast Go to original post
