One of the last two, Peacekeeper never received any real hero update either. Considering they were regarded the two strongest characters, it is more clear how much they were ignored and slowly devolved. I just can't imagine how a warlord should defeat a conqueror for example, the bash game is inferior, and warlord offense is too lacking to actually harm his defense.
I think the warlord update was pretty good, it doesnt make him too strong but on console hes quite fun to play as now and isnt as boring.
I would really like to see a warlord outfit with a bear head ornament, a bit like the character stigandr in the campaign, ive been hoping ubi would add one to the game for ages cause it seems like an obvious idea for an outfit, the guy looks so cool!

The season 9 warlord rework was very good in my opinion. It opened up a lot of new possibilities for attack and defense. However, I feel that warlord's subtype "harasser" doesn't really fit him as well as it does the berserker. Here's how I think warlord could become more of a harasser:
-It would be nice if warlord's light from full block was guaranteed, or at least unblockable. It does so little damage that it would be nice to have it actually be useful.
-Maybe give warlord a light light heavy chain? I'm someone who uses his superior block lights a lot, and the chain feels a bit neutered when I nail the unblockable light only have one more light to use in the chain. A final, feintable heavy would really be nice, and would allow warlord to be more aggressive and flow into other moves more smoothly.
-As a warlord who uses the "fresh focus" perk, I like to put myself out of stamina so I can bait a guardbreak from my opponent, the counter guardbreak on my part both replenishes my stamina and hopefully wallsplats/ledges my opponent. If there aren't any environmental hazards around, it would be very nice to have a punish to use when I counter a guardbreak. Warlord IS a counter attacker, but he doesn't have anything in his kit to expand upon counter guardbreaking. It would be amazing if he could flow seamlessly from a counter guardbreak into a damaging move, perhaps a shield bash or stab, which also acts as an opener-- something small, so he can live up to his archetype as a harasser, and be a more prolific counter attacker.
If this is to be, it would be even cooler if it had its own animation, but I understand how busy the folks at Ubi are.
Furthermore, to elaborate on the amount of potential this gives warlord, on a counter guardbreak, warlord would be able to seamlessly transition into a quick damaging move, (perhaps 10 damage?) and be able to chain into a light light heavy. The damage potential is extreme, but also the cost in stamina, of course, making this ideal to use only as a way to "fresh focus" your way out of "oos".
What would be really cool is if Ubi brought back warlord's parry -> shield bash -> heavy. I would totally want more options off of a parry. It should be unguaranteed, so it's riskier than the parry -> shield bash -> guaranteed light, but more rewarding as it does more damage. Personally, I think it should also be undodgeable, as board and blade is undodgeable, but that's just icing on the cake imo.
