    I had a good raider turtle against the new shugoki. There is literally nothing shugoki has that can open up a good raider. It became a staring contest until a berserker from my team came by and helped out.

    Y ofc. "Best" rework sure... they just make from shugoki spamming Demo-embrance sh*t ... rly "nice" job .. for kids maybe

    Then why can't this "best rework" open up a half-way decent turtle?
    In low tier every hero is perfectly viable ...

    Shugoki's rework is a great transition from the turtle meta to playing now aggressively. It's not without its flaws playing with shugoki and fighting shugoki but overall I'm happy with the rework as Shugoki's trading style is still intact plus other than passive HA not much visually changed with him.

    Shugoki is OP now. The demons embrace is out of control. It tracks way too much. The heavy feint can go way too long into move. There needs to be more risk for the embrace. It should not have hyper armor nor be uninterruptible. Your only chance is a side dodge, but 1/2 the time he changes his direction and follows you to embrace you. If you hit him during the attack he still grabs you. And why is it still so op and able to span and it does crazy high dmg and heal on top of that.

    1. Nerf tracking, it should have zero tracking.
    2. Nerf dmg, too spam able for the high dmg with self healing.
    3. Close window to feint charged heavy attacks into demon embrace

    The top light is not guarenteed. It's even parriable.

    And yes, you can dodge the Demon's Embrace. You have to dodge when the DE starts. Not when Shugoki is still in heavy animation because that is too early.

    1. Every attack in this game should have zero tracking then. It's a 50/50 now. If you don't guess correctly you'll get hit.
    2. 25 dmg for 25 hp, this is not high dmg. The dmg was already nerfed.
    3. So make him useless again? In pre-rework Shugoki could feint heavy into Demon's Embrace very early. That did not work at all.

    It seems like that now because Shugoki has a very strong 50/50 people start complaining about it already. It's new and you have to get used to it. That's the thing about 50/50s. You have to guess. And there are tons of it in the game.
