With his rework, he now can soft feint into Demon's embrace.. It is very similar to highlander's kick into caber toss, PLUS hyper armor, stam regen AND life regen.
Is it me or this is OP AF?

It is at least only 25 damage, but he indeed feels very strong now. He might actually be in A tier, but only time will tell, new heroes tend to perform well until people get used to them.

And if you pay attention to his stamina bar you can read and counter his mixups 100% of the time. The mix-up is actually garbage now, see a 40+ stamina drop he's going for DE so back dodge, see a 15ish drop he's hard feinting to guardbreak or light so counter, no drop he's letting it fly parry it.

Or if your an assassin character just light attack, there's no hyperarmor on charge up, it's so easily countered it's useless.

Just look for the damn animation!!!
If he lowers his head during the unblockable heavy, then he goes for the embrace. This is slow asf and can be dodged on reaction every single time. You just need to find out the right timing which is quiet generous.

Highlander's kick/grab mix-up is unreactable.

Soon people will call Shugoki underpowered, once the broad mass has the right timing. His kit has nothing else.
