Shugoki is op.
This game goes down hill with every single day. And I was really enjoying Breach.
This rework ND the new hero are absolutely bongers. Black Prior spamming zone plus Light while not even losing the slightest of stamina.
And Shugoki spamming hug that is nearly undogable, nor can u light him Cuz he got hyperarmor on every single strain of his fat body.
I had Shugoki turn on the spot midway in the charge to still hug me after dodge

You need to visit the training mode. Getting hugged is on you falling and reacting to everything shugoki is doing. It is a deserved punish for reacting to the feinted moves before. You will see what I mean very soon, I am sure. The extend of his mixups is quite overseeable and limited. And as sb else mentioned already quite telegraphed and reactable. Especially his new headbutt, which cannot be softfeinted into anything what so ever. He is just new and unusal, I don't really see him anywhere above B Tier.

If I yeet someone and change targets, I shouldn't be forced to attack someone I'M NOT EVEN LOOKING AT.

Yeah, that happened to me also quite often on many characters (Warden for example). It is a bit of a recovery issue. You can target switch all you want, as long as your hero is facing original target he will continue to attack him/her.

This lines up more with what I've been seeing lately. Maybe people just weren't used to him a few days ago when this thread was first posted?

Feel free to let me know if you still stand by Shugoki being strong though, and let me know any changes you'd like to suggest.
