    Season 9 first impressions

A quick analyzing after a few hours on the new season:

Vortiger: As usual owners of the prime access are from the 10% bottom of players so vortigers have been pretty terrible as could be expected, they can't parry or cgb for the most part. However we can still note a few things:
-his bashes a pretty ridiculous, allowing for more dmg than conq SB
-the stance can be done on reaction to anything, althought this was a rare occurence due to the skill of the players but in a week I have no doubt competent players will be able to react to almost anything with a stance and a nice flip, no surprise here, this was to be expected
-feats are beyond dumb, forget your revenge , and get used to ennemies being given a shield anytime you come close to killing them, again, no surprise here
    -his oos pressure is phenomenal

Can't draw more conclusions, we'll need actual good players to see the full potential of the edgelord

    Shugoki: definitly a better hero...however
-all fun is gone when playing goki, I have never performed so well in teamfights yet was never so bored, the charge can't ledge people now, your allies will cancel your DE all the time, and softfeints were never fun to user in the first place
-either the tracking on DE is inconsistant or the timing to dodge is weird, ned more time to be sure
-goki gank squads are a thing now and its annoying
-animations on attacks are like JJ's, thats a shame
-apparently you can read the feint into DE from watching his stamina bar, could mean goki is still garbage when not ganking, we'll see if it is a reliable way to dodge
Overall a "successfull" rework at making it better but he moved from S to E tier in terms of fun

Warlord: The whole "nerf" to the charge consist in a small animation where he raises his shield, but I assure you it feels exatcly the same, whether as warlord or against him
-This means that warlord just got so much better it's pretty stupid, definitly not what I expected from the previously announced "nerf without compensation", his oos pressure skyrocketed, as well as wallsplat punish and overall damage output

Peacekeeper: Met a few, didnt notice any difference, but in 4v4 triple stab is better than landing a heavy so please tell me how it feels in duels (maybe the ones I met just sucked idk)

MM bugs, needed to restart the game a few times because of games not starting, had season 1 PTSD

    Any thoughts ?

Black Prior: I fought a few, I don't own him/her yet. He seems to be pretty sure, but just as I expected, if he mistimes the counter from fullblock, he is vulnerable to basically anything in the next 500ms. This means, I feinted a lawbringer top heavy into an other top heavy, the second connected because he timed it for the first. His current bash game seems too strong, but since I only met them with lawbringer who is notouriously terrible against bashes, I wouldn't say he is op. That oos thing must go of course, and I think his vortex will be pretty irritating in hands of good players, maybe more so than conq's. Definetely one of my new mains.

Shugoki: I find him more fun in 1v1, he is strong, but not too strong, everything seems fair about him now. I did not notice this stamina thing yet, so I couldn't react, only read, and that way he was very strong. Playing him in 1v1 is definetely entertaining for me, he feels very strong right now (if I could customize him for my liking, I would take him as one of my mains, but I can't).

    Warlord: Did not met any.

Peacekeeper: Just as I have written in multiple forums since the last den, her rework is not noticable. I played multiple duels with her, and the damage change is not noticable. What I found noticable once is that she indeed can use her zone a little bit better without exhaustion, but still not too well, the second part of the zone still easily kills her. Still a terrible hero, and since other bad heroes were improved, I think she will feel even weaker than before (I guess it will be patched out in a few months).

I should add that they removed the possibility to turn around at the start of oni charge and also it seems slower, although this could be just an impression, not sure. But that nerfs on the charge piss me off at the highest level.
