Xbox black screen with welcome message. | Forums

Xbox one is having a black screen issue today. The is a news article about it. So before you think your Xbox is broke I thought I'd post this. Nothing right now seems to work to fix it. All I know is that starwars battle front started downloading an update according to the side screen that I managed to get up but not use much. Don't know if it's related but there it is.

It might be fixed by now. Mine was suffering from the black screen but started working about 15 minutes ago and am playing a game now. I might try restarting your xbox.

Ahhh! Wish I had seen your message. Had the same issue yesterday and thought my XBOX X was toast. Even reset the OS, etc. Finally got it working. Didn't realize it was an issue across the board.

Was an xbox live issue, should be solved now accoding to Microsoft Support page
