SPPD project/program manager(s) are terrible at their jobs
Basic a little rant about just how bad the Program and/or Project Manager(s) are at their jobs.
First up it is obvious that they don't play their own games that they are in charge of guiding the development of. And how it' is so blatantly obvious to even the most casual of players is some of the following. First up there are serious balancing issues throughout the game. If you read through the forum there are people that will say one theme or another is over powered or unbalanced. Lets just cut the crap here. There are balancing issues within all themes. As in all themes have cards that are overpowered. And all themes have cards that are underpowered. And you only have to stop for a brief moment to pick out some of the very obvious ones. I'm not even going to list them, because they are that obvious. Another reason is just a wow, I can't beleive you signed off on this "patch", was when the Store font color got "fixed". That was such a lazy idiotic move showing management has no idea what they are doing situation. Yes, you fixed the Butters PVP store, but you totally neglected Cartman's store. WTF?!?!?!? It's the same font, same color, same issues. I mean, holy crap. How much more of a obvious screw up is that. Just in that the entire SPPD community found out just how little attention and/or time you spend playing the game you are suppose to manage. A 10 year old kid has a better understanding of what's going on.
My final thing that I'll add to this rant. In how obvious they can't do their jobs. You could impliment a tracking system on which cards get played. At which levels. And which cards win or lose. Take that data and derive balance changes according to what the data shows. Then reset the data starting point when there are changes made to card stats. And by reset I mean a total 100% reset. For all the cards. That way you're starting with fresh untainted data. Then you get an idea how to cards scale as well. The entire, well it doesn't seem like many people level this card is a horrible way to balance anything. People don't level a certain card up sometimes because there are so many other over the top cards in the theme. Not because it is underpowered. There are so many tools that one could put in place to make managing this game very easy. Either they are not in place or the people that are suppose to be using them don't have a clue what they're looking at. I'm honestly not sure which it is, but I'm heavily thinking it's the latter. With that I hope that management sees this message. Though that would mean that they'd have to read the forum, and everyone knows they don't. Heck they most likely don't even know one exists or how to navigate it. Wouldn't doubt the only reason they'd possibly have SPPD on their phone is because they had someone else put it there and set up and account for them.
It's really just incredibly sad. They were given a cash cow. A sure thing. Something that could of went on for years. And it'll end up dying a painful death from mismanagement and neglect. Just because the people in charge think SouthPark is too big to fail. Pathetic.
