    1 game - 2 computers

    I bought the game and will download it onto my home pc. I also get downtime at work working longer shifts. I carry a small gaming laptop with me to help pass the time. If I bought 1 copy of the game and installed it on my pc at home, will I be able to install the game on my laptop and login and play my same character at work?

    You could be right but hopefully you are wrong lol

    With it being an online game, I assumed our save files were on their machines and not stored locally on ours. World of warcraft for example will let you login any computer that has the game installed on and your characters are there waiting for you.

    I have the Division on 2 desk tops. You can't be logged into both at the same time. I'm going to preface this by saying I play through the Uplay launcher. So if I'm signed on it shouldn't be a problem.

    On Steam you can play one game on multiple computers, just not at the same time. You just have to use the same Steam account. You would also log into the same Ubi account and have access to your character. I know nothing about the Epic format and how it works exactly, but I would have to assume it would be something similar.

    @sgtnogo

    Is your same characters there on both desktops? Did you have to buy the game twice?

    Yep, cause your signing on to the same account, your profile is server side, not on your C drive.

    as sgtnogo said

    the time save files were on you hardrive is over

    save files are now being stored on a cloud server.

    So you can buy 1 copy and play the same character on multiple computers.

    It's always been server side with games like this.
