I bought the settlers complete edition. I was half way through the campaign but had to take a break for a couple of weeks due to commitments. When I came back to the game (despite having many save files under one profile) I found that my original profile was lost alongside all my saves, resulting in me having to restart the campaign.
Naturally, I don't want to do this as it means I'll have to do all the tutorial levels again and I am not convinced that this issue won't happen again.
Is there any way to recover the files?
