    New computer 2080Ti + i9-9900k, 46 fps...

Im confused someone explain this to me. I got a new rig for the upcoming Anthem and Division 2. I have a 2080 TI, and i9-9900k. CPU at 48%, Mem at 50%, but my GPU at 100% with only 46 fps max and 21 when I start moving around. Is this normal?

Hi Crohnsbrb! Can you submit your MSINFO and dxdiag files on a ticket? Let us know what your ticket number is.

Don't get your hopes up. Ubisoft has abandoned this game. We've been reporting RTX series issues for several months now and the company refuses to do anything. Community members are starting to discuss the possibility of a class action lawsuit due to the game being unplayable.

Have you paid for game, yes? Then move along, work is done. The GRW team is investigating this issue, what else you want? xD I'm laughing but that's so sad. Support is helpless and replying to such threads must feel awkward to them. Cheer up people - money spent, lesson learned. Your game didn't crash yet? Wait for it.

I do tend to believe as and agree with, the other posters here. That said, I think some of this is on nVidia as well. Each driver update, runs GRW at a higher or lower framerate, and with the latest driver, the framerate dropped (at least with the 10 series.) In other words, some of the driver releases are good, some are not so good.

More than that, the big deal with the 2080 cards is the ray tracing and DLSS capability, not necessarily increased 4k ultra performance. (Once you cut through the hype, given that Wildlands is poorly optimized in the first place.) Wildlands does not and never will support those technologies.

Many scrambled to grab the 1080 Ti, but that did not do much better than 45 +/- fps on 4k ultra high, but I can get 60fps on two 1080's in sli--but not on ultra settings (i7-7700K but that setup competes with the 1080 Ti in 4k ultra high. From experience, I doubted that the 2080 Ti would be that much better, with Wildlands--of course had to find someone that agreed with me:

"Putting the most pressure on the RTX 2080 in our testing was Ghost Recon Wildlands. That’s hardly a surprise given the massive open world it has to offer. There are few games that are as technically demanding as Wildlands, so the fact that the the RTX 2080 Ti can handle it in 4K at over 30fps suggests that this graphics card should cope with any other 4K titles you throw its way.

Disappointingly, the RTX 2080 Ti missed out on 60fps in Ultra HD, as it was only able to run Wildlands at 46fps (on average) with graphics cranked up to the highest setting. That’s nothing to be ashamed of since the GTX 1080 Ti was only capable of hitting 37fps and the GTX 1080 30fps, but I have to admit I was hoping for a tad more oomph. "

As the author, I would not expect the i9-9900K and 2080 Ti to do much better than the 7700K, after all we are talking about Wildlands...

You mentioned The Division 2. The Division 2 specs for 4K Ultra High settings are the RTX 2080 Ti AND the i9-7900X to get 60fps (10 cores vs 8 cores for the i9-9900K.) The i9-9900k might get there...

Hope this is of some value.....

    2600k@5GHz and 7700k w 1070ti@2200mhz here

46fps at all times when looking at a large area, regardless of settings. 640p low = 46fps, 2k ultra = 46fps. Always 100% CPU usage regardless of clocks, chip or settings.

There is definitely a serious issue with the way the game handles frames over 30. The devs ignoring this issue just proves I was right for not picking it up when it was expensive.

Last Ghost Recon title for me at this rate, this is totally unacceptable - the devs should be ashamed of themselves, if they ever work in the industry again (which they definitely do not deserve to).

I'm sorry to hear that you are having performance issues playing Ghost Recon Wildlands. What is the base clock speed of your CPU and the base model? I'm not aware of a 5Ghz 2600k.
