Do you mean, for example, you kill Token, Timmy brings him back, and then they play Token again soon after the resurrected version dies? If that's the case, it might be plausible if they rotated even 2-3 cards in the meantime. Token would go to the bottom of the deck when he is initially killed, so there could be plenty of time to rotate him back once the Timmy show is over.
Are you proposing that the card get reshuffled to the bottom when it is resurrected? Wouldn't be a bug fix in this case, but a suggested change.
When the resurrected comes back, the card goes to the bottom of the deck while and starts there while other cards are played, until the resurrected dies again. Once the resurrected dies again, it's put at the bottom. I've faced Soo many wizard Cartman PT combos that I kill 2 or 3 other cards before I kill the resurrected, and immediately after I kill the resurrected, it's back. It's like the resurrected card is just sitting in their hand invalid until the resurrected dies again.
I really don't think that's how it works mitch, but it would be good to have someone from RedLynx comment. My understanding and experience from messing around with mystical decks is the card goes to the bottom when it dies the first time, Pope timmy's resurrection effect doesn't do anything to modify the stack. Have you had any experience to suggest otherwise?
I've never used Pope Timmy, so idk what your deck looks like after using him, but I would like some verification from redlynx. I'm just saying that the resurrected stays at the bottom and all other cards I kill, while the resurrected is on the field, jump ahead of the resurrected card at the bottom, keeping said resurrected at the bottom. Then when the resurrected dies, it goes back into circulation of the deck. I'm confusing myself trying to explain it lol.Originally Posted by camelchasers Go to original post
I understand what you mean (I think) but it doesn't work that way in practice. Mystic isn't my main theme, but I've played around with it plenty and the resurrected card definitely does not get reshuffled to the bottom in any way, the card goes back into the normal rotation when it dies the first time on the field.
Test yourself in friendly fights if you'd like to verify yourself, should be easy to do with a willing teammate.
When the card is killed it will be shuffled back into the deck. By the time you kill the resurrected card it will likely be back in their hand soon if not as soon as it goes down. Since PT is used with high cost, high health cards when played effectively you will find yourself chain killing MBP, GWC, Satan, SNR and SER. Most people balance their in such a way to get these cards back quickly. When done right you may find yourself up against both a resurrected MBP, MBP and PT. it is bat **** crazy. If you kill enough cards while MBP is on the field that it cycles back into their hand by the time they kill it they can bypass the unit cap by playing MBP immediately after you kill it and then play PT to resurrect the MBP that just went down. Follow that up with hallelujah for a no skill auto win.
