Wow that sounds cool unfortunately the only exotic armor piece I have is Barrets chest. I have about 13 or so exotic guns got a house on the second day of level 30 don't care for it much I prefer the showstopper or one of the LMGS. But ill keep grinding thankfully for now the game is still holding my interest.

I followed the build from nothingbutskillz and it builds a kickarse set up using Nomad. You need to put health on kill 5% wherever possible and one vendor had 5.5% support station mods so I grabbed a set of those.
The assault rifle, I had a match for the skills on an Lvoa-c, maxed to 286, but I vary only with a Hungry Hog, both have predatory active and it is a great mix covering close up with Lvoa-c and the Hog for further distance.
The HH would not do the job at higher levels but is good at 1 - 8 with a strumming pattern on the right control pad keeps it on the target for the full 220 shots if needed.

The fire turret does a brilliant job at slowing the shot gunners when it is active, so the build as described, works, but what I need to learn is better farming particularly on the boss levels.
Finding I do not get to the same DT levels as the videos but slowly improving if I do not make a silly mistake, like killing the boss early on in level 8.

CS drops from other areas has completely ceased for me, DZ Bosses, LZ Bosses, locked loot boxes even the bonus caches from proficiency has stopped.
Why Ubisoft don’t you reward agents for the grind, what do you think that agents will just keep playing without reward.

I was having insane numbers of classy drops during the last Global Event (2 exotics and 5 classy's on ONE LZ boss run). But, for me, after around that time, they seem to have went down to my average which is about 1.5 classy/exotic per LZ boss loop.

Keep running. Honestly, 100 hours in it sounds like you are doing well. If you do activities with a group, especially one willing to share, it makes the odds of finding that one item even better. I play on PC ~6pm CST weekday's if you are on same platform and equivalent time.

Sorry but there is no best piece of exotic gear since they all are just a junk outperformed by "classifieds" an are history.

Exotic gear (not weapons) are more situational. I think the Ninja bag is awesome if you get it early on where you aren't well equipped. The first one I ever got I was probably 600 hours into the game and had most sets. I have started the game again with another account and just got one to drop. So far, I've gotten ~8 classy's and IIRC, 5 exotic weapons but no gear pieces.

I have said for a long time that almost all of the exotics in this game are situational at best. The House, great SMG. Medved and Showstopper. Great for range and close up respectively. I have been using the Medved on my new account to rack up shotgun kills as that is one gun I rarely use in any games.Big Al is great for Lonestar but most high-cap LMG's take forever to load. There are a few loyalist using the Bullfrog. The rest seem to be useful only occasionally or with specific builds (at least to me). I love the MDR with Firecrest. I have used the Shortbow's with my Final Measure set. I don't ever seem to use many grenades as I am always holding on to them for either the perfect situation with several enemies together, or in desperation at the end. I would think Shortbow's would be great in PvP as there is no time to roll away. I do wish we could 'cook off' grenades before throwing them.

There are just so many exotics that IMHO are downright useless.

I've found that The Hungry Hog is a great exotic for a 6 piece classified Lone Star. Solid control, reasonable damage and a great fire rate. Once that Berserker hits it is outstanding. The Lone Star ammo buffs just let you fire endlessly. The Big Alejandro would be better due to the higher rate of fire but I've found it a bit harder to control than the Hog. I was thinking about looking into tweaking with mods that increase stability if possible to try and limit the upward pull of it. The Urban MDR does absurd damage but I'm so used to full auto's its difficult to get used to the semi.

I agree with you Bambihunter1971..some of them seem to complement only specific builds. For example the Urban MDR would not be very useful on a Predator because of it being semi. That's the only example I can think of for right now but I'm sure there are others.

The Lonestar classified gear set is what I ultimately ended up using the most. I tweaked my set with a few mods here and there, but I was still able to get crazy amounts of DMG.

Are you running on WT5? Are you running the most challenging content you can? That drop rate seems really low to me. I recently started a new account and I don't have 1/3 the hours in that you do and I've got quite a few gear items and classifieds. I am normally not a very lucky person either. I got most of these running open world (LZ) boss runs, Underground, and missions on challenging.

On this account, I now have a classified for each slot, with like 4 for the backpack, at least 2 holsters, and also FINALLY got the ninja bag (in my opinion one of the best things you can find early in the game). I have also got Medved, Liberator, Caduceus, Hildr, Eir, Midas, Tenebrae, Tommy Gun (who cares) and just before I quit last night I also got the Showstopper.

That said, if you have time, hit the Global Event hard this week and get all the GE credits you can and buy some of the classified caches of whichever gear set you like best of the four.
