I gotta say, when I saw that this latest video was over 21 minutes, I thought I'd watch a little bit and move on. I ended up watching the whole thing and to my surprise I can't think of a single thing I would disagree with. I am a rather new player to Trials and Rising is my first version (about 7 months now).
I absolutely love this game. The physics and the editor might be my favorite aspects. I've been a track builder for decades in various games and recently stopped playing one game that I'd played for 15 years! Why did I leave it after so long? Bugs. Plain and simple, just got sick of the same bugs persisting and the refusal of the company to fix them before adding new content. You don't build a house on a cracked foundation and you shouldn't build a game on one either. Usually when people continually get frustrated with bugs they don't say much, they just go away and don't come back.
I don't say any of this with the intent of complaining. Same as you, Oregon Pacifist, I say these things because I want to see this game and franchise succeed.
Now that the content upgrades are complete I beg you guys to take some time, before moving on, to optimise and debug as many aspects as you can so that you have player who want to buy the next iteration of this really cool game rather than chasing them away.
I have always been one to try and support a game I believe in by offering honest and hopefully constructive feedback and community contributions.
