Get down! Random unidad chopper (ghost mode)?

I am currently playing in ghost mode and I am early in the campaign. And I already had two or three encounters in the open getting attacked or hunted by the random unidad chopper because I ignored the warning. Is the unidad chopper more aggressive in ghost mode?

I ask, because in the normal campaign I usually ignored the warning and just kept walking. I think it only happened once or twice that the unidad chopper decided to attack out of nowhere.

I’m not sure if GM changes it’s detection, but difficulty definitely does. On Extreme difficulty it will detect you far more often than at lower difficulty settings. What difficulty are you currently playing on?

p.s. I too have noticed the increased unidad heli patrols that seem to randomly show up as you are anywhere near a compound as if they just *know* you are there and the detection has certainly gone up. I used to play extreme always until I got sick of unnatural abilities from the enemies. So now I notice it even on normal and recruit.

    Currently playing on normal.

Actually, the increased risk of getting detected by the unidad chopper makes the warning calls more realistic. I listen to them now.

I think it's a day of the week type thing. Like how it's double convoys on week ends. Enemies are more or less aggressive depending on the day of the week. Sometimes I get double or triple unidad choppers flying in formation.

I think it will depend on the province you are on and not on the Mode but with UBI, you never know the path they are on... too many samples of coca leaf were taken and consumed is my guess.

That's an interesting point... I've never seen that until recently... but lately, I've seen two Unidad Blackhawks flying together. Strange. Maybe they did change something.

Yes. I have seen Unidad choppers flying in formation of 2 choppers since Update 3 was released. I had never encountered it before. As for me, I pretty much like it.( If we had some river patrols...)
