The game is bigger than Blood Dragon which was standalone. I don't take issue with the game's scale, and the fact that they're not charging a full $60 is at least decent of them, unlike Primal which probably should've been at that pricepoint as well. I just don't like what they're doing from a gameplay perspective, and that is why I've decided I won't be picking it up, on release day at least. Maybe down the line if I'm in a drought, but even then, I really think that tiered weapon and enemy thing is stupid and I don't like the lack of personalized customizable weapons. And from what I've seen the only new weapon seems to be that saw launcher which is a novelty weapon I might've screwed around with a little, but I doubt it'd ever have been a regular in any of my loadouts.
All I am hoping for now is that ND is just an experiment that fails and they do not pursue this direction going forward. As I've said before, my hope is that FC6 is a 'soft reboot' that goes back to something more akin to FC3 (with maybe a dash of FC2 as well) I think FC was RPGish enough, this bullet sponge enemy BS is garbage.....
I won;t be buying this game until its at least half price.
I still have not bought Primal as I feel it is still over-priced for what it is which is really just a campaign / story. I would pay more for the map ediitor than the campaign.
I got Blood Dragon for free so pretty sure this game will be free to play in the future.

I'd get it for $5, but I won't get it for $40, not with all the other options around the same time. Maybe if it was a dry period without any other interesting releases in sight...Originally Posted by AW LOST SOLDIER Go to original post
I will definitely wait. But unlike all you far cry veterans, far cry 5 was my first far cry. Just started to play far cry 4. I think i will play it all in reverse order; 4, 3, 2 ... And then all the other stuff; primal, blood dragon ... if i will have enough time.
4 is like a new game for me now, and in some aspects it really feels like an improved version of 5. I'll be lost in Kyrat for quite a while.
Out of curiosity, what are the rank of the weapons in the Deluxe Edition?Originally Posted by CZ-BackPa Go to original post
