The arrival of this week's challenge brought along some unusual things, such as the 60m pistol problem and the inventories showing "New" because of the camo reward. Now I've got my tutorial/tips messages popping up for everything from joining co-op, to opening up the tac map like I'm still some noob on his first day of GRW school. And this despite the Tutorial Messages being set to Off. I suspect this problem can be added to the list of unusual things.
My settings for Tutorial Messages have been off since pretty much the beginning. I've done the regular campaign and Tier mode, and am almost done Ghost mode and much of the GM Tier mode without having this issue.
Even though I don't think the problem is on my end, I've turned on Tutorial Messages, applied the settings, then turned them off again in hopes of resetting things, to no avail. This issue shows up in both regular save slot and GM save slot.
Please advise.

Given the crazy things which happen when they do a maintenance "update" to the game, I've gotten in the habit of first thing afterwards, re-verify the game files.
I haven't noticed the hints messages showing up since the 22nd, but will keep an eye out now.

That should clear it up. The same thing happens if you're tiering up a character with "XP Notifications" on, and you hit a nearby convoy... the XP notifications will glitch out and disappear, requiring the aforementioned remediation (in reverse wrt OFF/ON).

@V4MPiR1: I already did the tutorial messages on/off thing originally, but I went ahead and exited this time as you suggested to no avail.
Thanks to both of you for the suggestions, but no change despite doing the above and the re-verification.

Digging Into the Options settings, I saw that HUD/HINTS was activated. What caused this to be toggled, I don't know. I'm the type to admit when it's human error, but in this case, I do know 100% that I never touched those settings since turning them off long ago after realizing that I didn't need them anymore.
The only different thing I remember doing that I hadn't done before was some F12 and Ansel screenshots with the HUD toggled off, then back on, using the assigned keyboard key. I thought maybe it was tied to that, but when I tried to replicate the problem, I didn't happen. That's the only different thing I've done.
I made sure HUD/HINTS was toggled back to "OFF" while in my regular save, my ghost save and the main menu. I tested by using fast travel in my ghost mode save and things seem fine now.
I couldn't edit the original title or I would have changed "... tutorial/tips ..." to read "... HUD/HINTS..."
