What if combining 3 pieces of a weapon (visually) to make a complete weapon unlocked an effect? The effect could be tied to multiple weapons by group/visuals to limit how many effects need to be made. As of right now grinding to complete a weapon just doesn't feel worth it.

Just a thought.
