    Specialization optional?

so do we HAVE to choose a specialization once we make it to the end game? id like the option to have an agent who's specialized and one who's not. not only that but I wonder if all the gear you have in the game will slow you down at all. so lets say you decide to go the specialization option and add one more weapon to your loadout, will it weigh you down and slow you down?

if thats the case i would much rather have the option of having a powered down, light-loaded agent that has greater speed and mobility in cover to cover movement or just generally faster on his/her feet. i hope you guys have thought of this.

because if it comes down to better mobility in combat situations it would also force me to have to make up for my lack of specialization in others ways.

How might a faster or slower agent change up the pace of gameplay for you? What are your thoughts on speed and mobility in The Division? How do you think Specializations might compensate for possible weaknesses?

I love that the division offers so many different ways to play the game. having the option to go with a heavy agent vs a light agent would be yet another way to vary the gameplay.

as far as a slower or faster agent I think if I was in a real tactical situation I would vastly prefer my mobility to having a heavy weapon as part of my loadout. for example, getting myself into a retractable situation and having the mobility to disengage the enemy and fall back would be a huge benefit especially for the solo player.

don't get me wrong, i like the idea of specilizations but not HAVING to use a specialization and differentiating the two playstyles would force us to maybe go deeper with our builds to compensate for that lack of knock-out power present with the specializations.

and also give the lone wolf a better chance of surviving and evasion in the DZ. in need all the help i can get.

Having the ability to be quicker on your feet, is something I would like personally.
However can speed be enough to give lone wolfs a better chance of surviving?
