Is the use of any profanity considered harassment?

I had my account suspended for 1 day because at some point I said to a player within a game (duel to be exact), after he himself made negative comments about me that simply didn't contain any profanity but still had the goal of trying to insult me, the following: "You can b!tch and moan all you want". for more detail he was calling me a coward for not playing a way he approved of. After that he said that he had reported me, so I can only assume that is the reason I have been suspended. I simply want to know one thing. is the use of profanity considered harassment? Because what I said was in no way me labeling him as anything and therefore in no way harassing him. If the use of profanity is considered by this company harassment, then I am sorry but the entire for honor community should be suspended indefinitely from this game. If it isn't however, I believe that I have been wrongfully punished after a player has abused the report system with malicious intent. I do not care about my suspension. I will take that punishment if I am in the wrong. what I want is a clear depiction of what is allowed to say in the chat of this game, so I can know if it is actually worth the risk to communicate with other players. I have been accused of harassment in the past by this company and my punishment was for me to be prohibited from using the in-game chat and I chose to ignore it the accusation, as I assumed it was a mistake. Now that I know that the reasons can be trivial, I do not wish for me to find myself one-day losing access to a product that I have paid for and thoroughly enjoy. I cannot accept something as vague as "any form of harassment" because that is subjective. What i consider harassment might be considered a simple comment by another, or a statement even.

Hi there. Please refer to this FAQ about For Honor's Code of Conduct for details of what is considered unacceptable behavior.

I want a solid answer. Not a pointing towards a faq that is as vague as the youtube guidelines. Is profanity considered harassment?

As per the Code of Conduct,
Any language or content/picture deemed illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, hateful, racist, sexist, ethically offensive or constituting harassment is forbidden. This includes use of the above via user generated content tool like the emblem editor, on the forums, via the in-game chat, or over VOIP.
This does not necessarily mean casual profanity like swear words.

So then I was wrongfully punished. Well, whatever the suspension has finished but I do hope you (the company) improve the algorithm that governs whether or not something is considered harassment. Because I see more and more people abusing the report system out of childish spite. I do apologize for dragging this on, but I do not want to risk losing access to my account over something as trivial as saying something that angers someone too immature to ignore it. I need to know at what point Ubisoft will side with the one making the report. Anyway, thank you for your help.

    Hey NotOffensiveNPC,

When manually reviewing these cases, the team do look at the context that the language is used in.

That being said, some language is unacceptable to use. (I am not saying you have said such things, just providing more information)

I would go into that but I am not in the mood to lose access to my account for getting into a debate with the support staff. I still believe i was wrongfully punished but in this "progressive" world, I guess the thin-skinned are always right. Again, thank you for answering my comment.

I just got my very first "harassment" warning as well. I barely talk to anyone in-game. You can read my post for more info.

But, to be perfectly honest, at this point I genuinely think it's best to not interact with anyone in any way whatsoever if you don't want to risk getting banned out of the blue.
