    Hey folks,

Cheers for all the feedback! It definitely seems like we have some things to work on when it comes to the new Matchmaking system. Just to note, this iteration of the system is not final. We're always trying new things with the matchmaking algorithm to try and improve things for players of all skill levels.

Thanks again, and if you have any more feedback please do bring it our way!

And I can't get your complain about 1-2 rep players crushing by 160. It happened long before MM changes, so newbies keep leaving this game. Or you think after all giveaways of this game there are no army of smurfs, who crushing everyone on rep 5?
I played yesterday and had enemy team of 3-7 rep guys. And only one of them were newbie. Others knew their characters like they playing on them for centuries, they knew every feint, every trick I can do. And I'm 110 rep player.
So, new MM just show how many smurf around in this game. Nothing special.
If these were smurf accounts then I wouldn't have a problem. Because it would mean the new system is working as intended and pushing the smurfs up into the skill rating where they belong thus removing them from the legit new player pool. But these low rep players I'm seeing aren't smurfs, they're legit new players who don't parry, don't counter GB and hardly ever feint an attack.

This new system is supposed to suss out the smurf accounts and console converts (on PC) and put them at the appropriate skill level. It seems to be doing so for you if you're meeting low reps that are playing like veterans. The low reps I'm seeing are playing like new players out on their first couple of PvP matches.

Everyone has been "on par" since Ubisoft silently switched that feature off 2 Seasons ago and left it as "on par" by default.

Well, I met some newbies too. One raider on rep 15, who just throw heavies on me, even oos. But at the same time I met rep 5, how play like rep 150. I just trying to say, that smurfs are a huge problem of For Honor. I saw stream of one guy after giveaway and he offers his subs to play a cool game while it's free. He logged in, played 5 matches and everything were ok. But then he met 4 rep Warden who crushed him with SB mixup, top heavy cancels etc. And I really think he is not the only one. If new system will let us remove all smurfs (cause I think this guys don't want to play with same skill players), so be it. When I met real newbie, I just toned down my pressure and let him learn my moves. It's better then pathetic ****ty guys, who try to self-satisfact by the new players.

i hope they fix this as its one of my biggest issues with this game. Everytime they "improve" the matchmaking parameters it always feel alot worse then before they tinkered. I can't even find a decent game anymore I'm either in a handicapped game or I'm paired with new players there doesn't seem to be inbetween in my experience

Well at least you're "on par" with your allies and enemies /s

Edit: oh someone made the joke already :/
    That matchmaking is unacceptable though.

Well Space i don't even know if they are some toxic "smurfs" who intend To do that just for crushing some beginners and feel good as you said.

For example i just switch to pc. But not because i wanted To left out my 140" 4k screen and 138 reps i have there for fun .. i switch because i was tired of light spam being toxic af on console and the PC version was looking far more attracting.

I dont have any regrets because after 15 pc reps in my opinion the game is not designed for console.

So, of course at the very begenning i was crushing newbies. . That's a necessary path to get at higher skills bracket.

But it is a very short window.. since i've hit reps 8 i was already matched against 30-50 reps players even with the old MM because of my performances. I believe people already got the basics at least from rep 30.

So, maybe a few players as me have been threw in their own bracket faster with these changes but at least newbies would have To face someone like me what 3 or 4 times till they get kind of correct themselves at the game ?

Know they are destroyed each games by high reps team.

I gess the current situation is worst for beginners .

Smurf-Accountts? Whatīs this? 2 Accounts by the same Player??

I donīt believe that! Why someone should buy the same game twice??
What would be the meaning for this?? Ganking newbies?? This works not Long and than he is again on a higher Rep-Score...…….

If a Player getīs the free Version - he has only 3 Heroes to Play. For all others he must pay. Also Skins, Colours, Executions, Gestics and so on.....

So I think you face cheaters with Autoblock and Auto-GB. Or guys who Train 2 months before playing PvP.
Or rich Players who buy indeed the same game twice…….

I like how people just gravitate to cheese filled playstyle, win a bunch of games in their own levels so that the MM system think they're professional gamer level and queue them up with oldies who can manage the cheese to some degree and win. Leading to these kinds of posts.

You cant even blame the people, because they do what is natural to them: WIN by any means necessary.

Ubisoft, THIS. THIS IS ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT for disregarding PROPER balancing of the game. For ignoring the higher rep feedback and pushing for even more unbalanced playstyle.

(this message is copy/pasted from various post so that more people would see it, feel free to remove it moderators, not doing it to spam, but to spread the message of how inapt the balancing division is)

You really underestimate people, you know? They got free version and spend a week to get 8-10k steel. Then they get character they want and here we go. People use smurf accounts to feel better, dominating. Imagin how 100+ rep player on 0 rep will be absolut unbeatable. I know some people who leave a game cause of smurfs, and you really think it's not a problem?=)

    Where did I wrote this???

    I only say - I donīt believe this - I think the cheaters are more a Problem...………

What will you do with 8k?? A new Hero cost more - and with him you have nothing - No gestic - no Colour - No effect…….. And Play 1 week and make all dailies - you are quick again higher Rep...… So: What would be the meaning for this? Feel 1 week better for dominating?? Wooooow

For me it sounds crazy and illogical……….
