Why are Ubi taking fun things out?

I want to preface before going further, this post is NOT about the balance of the game. If you would like to discuss that particular topic, there are plenty of other threads on the forum for you to peruse. This is actually about max punishes during certain scenarios (among other fun things), and how one by one, each hero is having their kits reduced to tedious normalcy.

There are four characters I actively play; Shinobi, Tiandi, Berserker and Conqueror. Of late, every one of them has had removed a max-punish option (or another advanced technical manoeuvre) removed inexplicably from the game.

Shinobi: OOS/Revenge GB punish: Side throw unlock double heavy.
I understand what took place to render this useless (the whole minion-kill animation change) but now the max punish is just heavy into light.
Which is also the standard GB punish...
    And the light parry punish...
And the best thing to do when a random heavy is landed...
Some variety of some kind would be warmly welcomed. Seriously.

Tiandi: Heavy parry punish: Unlock double light.
When I read the patch notes detailing this removal, it was called a 'bug'. Yet, when Jiang Jun parries a heavy, he gets a 28 damage unblockable zone attack. Which is uhh... Fine... I guess...
Shinobi's max heavy parry punish does 29, and that doesn't look like it's being adjusted... Which is uhh... Fine as well... I suppose...
But see, Tiandi's light combo also did 29 damage.
Balance clearly wasn't the drive here, was it? Sure it was an oversight, but it gave the character options: either take the guaranteed damage or zone and go for a mixup...
Which is ill-advised because Tiandi has no stamina, but that's neither here nor there. Hint. Hint.

    Berserker: The 360 feint.
This one I just don't get at all. It was an advanced skill (useless, admittedly, but it looked really cool; it was great for montages and clips and such), and it was taken away.
Do we really need to give more reasons for people to resent this character? At least when someone performed this trick on me I appreciated the time and effort taken to incorporate it into their combat strategy. These days, I'm never 'wowed' by Zerk mains. Which is a shame; the character 'was' really cool, once...
That being said, taking out the old OOS GB punish and replacing it with direction-specific throws for the double heavy was a good call, so, good job.

Conqueror: OOS/Revenge GB punish: Left throw side heavy top heavy.
This one had the unique quality of being rather difficult to pull off. It required practice, timing, and co-ordination of both hands to facilitate the necessary movement.
Now it only works when the opponent is near a wall, or in a corner, where one might get the double top heavy instead. And no movement tech is required in the least.
    Why tho Ubi? Why?

I just don't understand it to be honest. Maybe someone could explain the thinking to me, because as far as I can tell, it's only removing the nuance and advanced character knowledge from the game. Also, if you can think of any other examples of fun techniques being taken out, feel free to let me know below. Maybe Ubi will consider reinstating them. Who knows?

Also, Tiandi has inconsistent double heavy punishes for OOS throws/parries, which is extremely annoying and could use some looking at.

Well for the tiandi and shinobi I can answer that, they are trying to get rid of all unlock "glitches". They dont want unlocking from a fight to be part of a 1v1 situation. We also know that they arent great with giving something when they take something away. They tend to take it away and wait to see how it goes before tweaking again.

As for the other two i cannot comment

Since when is unlock tech fun? were unlocked unparryable zones fun? as for Conquerors double heavy, wasn't that a thing before he got reworked? I've honestly pulled off the double heavy when throwing someone against a wall while they were oos, which i believe is just making use of your environment and that it is fine as it is.

Don't get me wrong, some unlock tech is insufferably annoying. I was just using these specific instances as examples of higher-level character-unique knowledge, and how removing them without replacement is dulling the punish games of some heroes, thereby making the game less fun overall. Also I'd make the case that using walls to minimise throw distance is similarly gimmicky to unlocking, but maybe that's just me.
