What would it take to get me to play PVP?
-Ubisoft footing the bill for PS+, because I'm not made of money (obviously the whole family oil money thing is a joke).
-A Spec Ops crate at the end of each round.
-Myself included in the game as an icon with clothing and gear of my choice, because you all know you want to play GRW as me.
-non-exist-ent must reveal their gender so we know which pronoun to use.
I’ve never given it a go & I PVP just not this game.
From what I read on forums, snippets here & there PVP relies on using drones? So yea won’t give it the time of day. I prefer to relie on my own skill & senses & team mates.
I did read somewhere last month they removed this feature, drones I think for a short time?
Missed that though so my bad but would definitely give it a go with no drones as a set feature.

Ok, let's do it. This weekend there is an event which I am hoping will be the one that takes the drones off again and that would be great for you guys to try if you like the no hud approach.
However I am happy to set up some custom matches as well at predetermined times over the weekend and we can have some tactical matches without HuDs on etc.
Ami, best times do you think? It may have to be some time between 20:00 and 24:00 GMT on Friday, Saturday or Sunday as that will allow the American players to join the EU players.
Anyone here want a different time zone to be incorporated?
I'm surprised with the unrealistic expectations such as prestige crates or ghost war crates after each match.
If that was the case you guys wouldn't stick around for much long anyway. After acquiring all the loot, you would disappear into the sunset.
As AI Bluefox mentioned, with this weekend's event the PvP experience will be a lot more hardcore. Obviously for those who have much experience in PvP they still would have an edge because they know the maps very well and the PvP mechanics.
But with all of the gimmicky marking system gone, it should be more tactical.
Prior to the weekend perhaps jump in and get yourself used to the mechanics and the maps.
Well for starters removing the label “carebears”. I know you are making light of it and mean nothing ill, but it proves the point of others that the pvp community can be rather harsh on those who are not very good. I am a strong support role when playing pvp and will gladly be the scout, medic, sniper, whatever. But I constantly get berated or kicked for playing these roles as they are designed. Seems that if you are not running up and face tanking everyone else then you suck and you get yelled at. It’s a game, I play for fun. And being screamed at for not playing the way someone else wants me to is not fun. One of the things I like about GRW is the tactful play style and GW just doesn’t seem to have that anymore. It’s turned into just another team death match and I avoid all of those unless I’m with a team of my friends. A perfect example as to why i steer clear is the controversy of drone use. I like the drones. They add a tactical element. But you get chastised for using them. So no amount of rewards will get me to play again. The community mentality will have to change to get me to try again.
It seems you already know the answer. XDOriginally Posted by Ghost416 Go to original post
Well, I have no idea what works for everyone else, but those days/times are all fine for me.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
Finding eight total players for a custom match seems hard though. I was thinking it'd be great to just have a team of four and then slaughter everyone in quickplay. XD
