The "go to first unread post" icon?? | Forums

Err, what happened to being able to go straight to the first unread post in a thread? It seems we can only now go to the last post, which means scrolling back to try and find where you left off.

Am I missing something obvious?

Either those whom surf the forums in the UK were getting different navigation options, or I've never seen it. Before it was always first post or last post option like now. It's never remembered the last post I read. The only difference I see is we now have arrows instead of a drop down box. At 60 my memory is ever failing as I've said many times, but it's not something hard to remember because often times I'd forget to use last post and it would take me to the first if I just clicked on the thread, and I HAVE revisited some threads numerous times, like my guide thread, so.

It remembered the last post if you were logged in. The desktop site had a drop down that allowed a go to first unread choice. The mobile site works the same still.

Today the icons are different.

Yup, the icons/options are different. Clearly it's been changed.

I believe that changed with the new look and feel they incorporated in the last revision of the forums... Since then, and only by accident I found how to go to the last post, which BTWs, it should go to the last post you were on previous to logging out. Most times, it just takes you to the last post and you have to go back pages to find what you are looking for.

Being said that, I just got all confused so I figured it is not easy to do

EDIT... never mind, something changed even more since yesterday.
