URGENT!! Latest update broke my game!! | Forums

I just tried loading the game after getting home from work tonight, only to find it won't install the update, so I can't get into the game! When I load the game, it goes to "Downloading Assets" and starts downloading an update that is just a tad larger than 7 MB. Once the download is finished, it just continues to sit on that "Downloading Assets" screen with 0.00 MB remaining, and never continues into the game. I let it sit for several minutes, and no change. I went to my home screen then back to the game, same thing. I opened a different app for a few minutes then went back to the game, same thing. I closed the game then opened it again, it starts the download over again, then continues to sit there when it hits 0, like before. Been playing on the same Samsung Galaxy A5 ever since I started playing, and have not updated the OS since last summer when I upgraded to Android Pie shortly after getting the phone. I'm in danger of completely missing the Tuesday event due to this bug, which means missing out on the 3 packs of upgrade materials. How do I fix this?

I am having the same exact issue but on iOS. What the hell?? I even deleted and re-downloaded the game and still having the same problem.

Update: problem solved by just waiting 10 minutes after assets downloaded.

Mine got fixed by completely powering off the phone, then turning it back on. The update then took about 2-3 minutes to install, and I was in.

I had the same problem this morning when I did the update. I left the screen open and took a shower, when I came back it had finished whatever it needed to do.

Yes, there a delay in some models of phones. If anyone is still experiencing this, can you please respond with the following information:

Your current in-game name
The model of your device and what OS it is running
And how long you've let the screen run open for.

In game name: Ender Rizza
using Verizon Samsung galaxy note 8 running Android 8.0.0.
I let it run for 30 minutes trying to get past the loading assets screen.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
Tried loading it 5 times since. NO LUCK
