    Just dance with Kinect issues

Hi we recently purchased and downloaded just dance 2019 on the xbox one. It was working perfectly the first time but now when it says stand in front of the camera to select the player we don’t show on the screen. However it does record us and show the clips at the end. It doesn’t give a score or track movements though I assume because its not picking up anyone on the first screen. Can anyone help?

While UbiSailorScout reaches out to the Just Dance team, I'd appreciate if you could try some quick troubleshooting for me. Please turn off your Xbox One and unplug everything from it including the Kinect and the power cord. Leave those things unplugged for two minutes and then plug everything back in. Let me know if that resolves this issue.

Just to chime in, you can also calibrate your Kinect in the Xbox One settings and it'll tell you the best angle to have your Kinect at, and if there's any issues. Press the Xbox button on your controller, then Settings > Kinect & devices > Kinect > I moved my Kinect sensor or I'm having trouble with Kinect.

Hi, I have tried to unplug everything as you wrote and this doesn't help. I have also tried to calibrate the kinect in the settings-menu for the xbox. When I calibrate it looks good and I can see on the tv what the camera sees. I do every step on the calibration with no problem. It seems like the kinect is ok but when I play Just dance it doesn't work. I think it has to do with the game.

Thanks for letting us know you tried those steps. What type of Xbox are you using and what type of Kinect?
