    Crashing every five minutes. Unplayable.

I have been playing Assassins Creed Odyssey for 50 hours with no issues at all. About one month ago the game was patched, since then the game crashes to desktop every 5 minutes or so. I decided to have a break from the game thinking the problem will be patched. I have recently booted it back up, installing the latest patches. The problem still persists.

I have the latest drivers for my GPU, CPU / Motherboard BIOS and sound.
Uplay is up to date as is the game.
Windows 10 is up to date.
I have deleted the game and reinstalled it.
    I have reinstalled Windows.
My CPU / RAM / GPU are running at stock.
I have no other programs running in the background.
I am running the game as an admin.
I have tried turning the graphics to LOW.
I have tried Full screen / Windowed / Borderless.
I have tried reinstalling the supporting programmes.
I have tried starting a new game.
I have tried with and without controller / keyboard / mouse plugged in.
I have cleared the temp files.
I have deleted the ACOdyssey.ini file.
I have tried installing it on different drives.
    I have sent 50 + crash reports.
I have probably tried more I cant remember.

    My system spec is..

    Win 10 64bit
    i7 8700k
    EVGA GTX 1080ti SC2
    16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200mz
    MSI Z370 Gaming pro carbon
    M.2 Samsung 970 Evo 500gb
    Acer Predator XB321HK

I have a support ticket where I have attached my msinfo and dxdiag files.

    Case number 07714322.

Hey morgaz20. Thanks for letting us know what you have tried and creating a ticket with your MSinfo/DXdiag. Just curious, is Uplay & the game installed on the same drive? If they're on different drives, would you kindly put it on the same drive.

Hello JUGoWINE! Sorry to hear that you're encountering the same issue as well. Is the game and Uplay also installed on the same drive? Would you kindly also create a ticket here and attach Dxdiag and MSinfo for us to investigate further. Feel free to drop your ticket number here as well.

    Same here:

1.- Lot of crashes with 1.1.2
2.- Out of the blue, my ubisoft app "updated" some 3gb files, no log file, no nothing
3.- Game was playable for first time in months, super weird that 3gb update WASNT 1.1.3 (I verified the files last night)
4.- After patch 1.1.3, random crashes, unplayable game, tried every option (I have a clean W10 x64 installation)
    5.- Latest Nvidia Drivers
6.- My rig is an Alienware R3 17

    What do?

    Same issue

Around 150 hours of smooth play, PC meets system specs; its always been a bit buggy but crashes every 5 minutes now - wondering if it has anything to do with the recent big Win 10 update

When I use fullscreen it freezes to a point that I have to use the TAB key to let the game advance but it does not work because I have to be interspersed between the TAB key without any benefit the game is unplayable as you can see I add a link and my DXdiag if it's any use I have the latest driver of NVIDA 417.71 to see what happens after the two updates 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 fullscreen can not play at all and I have to always use borderless when playing in fullscreen had more movement and the most lit colors but in that way ac sucks UBISOFT FIX IT.
