I'm done with for honor.
You all can tell me to get good all you want to but I am so sick of the r1 spam. I play on PS4 and it still rules over the battlefield all the damn time. Ubisoft will never fix broken characters like orochis, berserker, Jiang Jun, just to name a few. They will just keep spitting out garbage characters that can spew out attacks nonstop.
I know year of the harbinger is coming out soon, and i was so excited, but after playing dominion, brawl, and duels for so long i have come to the conclusion that the game will never be balanced on console. It just gonna continue to be a **** show of spammy, cheesy, characters running around killing those who actually want to get better and have fun.
I am just sick and tired of the fact that most of these spammy heroes never seem to get punished at all. You block and parry and they still keep throwing out lights left and right! its pure garbage. laugh and make fun of me all you want to, but im officially done.
yet other heroes like kensei, or warden, lawbringer and other characters get extremely punished when any of their attacks get blocked or parried. Its quite obvious that this game has always and will always favor spammy ninja assassin type characters. On that note, all you spammy heroes out there playing For Honor, you finally won! you convinced me to quit! so go out there and spam away! cause nothing about this game will ever change. I love the game but saving up for a good gaming pc on top of buying the game and grinding all over again, just doesn't seem worth it in my opinion. Everything I said still holds true to me, although I made this post out of anger the other day when I raged quit like a salty *****. This was the first time I honestly got this angry over a game in a long time. At first I was doing great and then it got progressively worse as I kept getting ganked, and spammed, and then on top of that it was like suddenly I could not block or parry anything to save my life. I just got fed up and decided that I was going to take a long vacation from for honor.

This is propably the last thing you wanna hear but you'll get used to the spam eventually. It just means that you have to suffer and keep playing like a braindead zombie for hours until at some point you notice it's not a problem anymore.
Dominion (as i see it) cannot be saved. Ever. Unless they do a complete overhaul but im certain they won't, propably shouldn't at this point. It's just a braindead gankfest where all you can think of is "man, i would totally **** every single one of these dummies in a duel" as you're laying in the mud once again after getting murdered by a gank squad of 3 or more and getting emote spam on your sorry *** corpse.
Breach is the best thing that has happened to this game ever, and honestly i think it's pretty well balanced as well. It also feels like a completely different game as it is so much more tatcical and teamwork based. However, if you're looking to get a few casual matches in and just have fun, that propably isn't the best option for you.
Now that there's tons of other good titles out that i very much enjoy to play, i nowadays play mostly brawls as that is fun and far more skill-based (eventho the balance between matchups always isn't all that great.) But even then, i don't stress too much because if im playing a mid/low-tier character i know that im at disadvantage and that's just how it is. Makes it so much more rewarding when you do win against superior heroes.
This is not a "you just have to git gud" reply, just know that i've been there (as has 80% of the community i could imagine). If you don't feel like playing anymore then don't, there's many good games out there. But if you like the game and don't want to abandon it completely, try your best to play casual and not force it. It's just a game afterall 🌹

Sorry to hear you're not enjoying For Honor as much as you'd like to, but I thank you and everyone for taking the time to share what you enjoy about the game and also find frustrating! I do know the team is looking at characters like Jiang Jun as far as changes and Shugoki is being looked at for season 9.
I want you all to know that your feedback on other warriors is being shared with the team as well and I will continue to share your feedback/suggestions!
As far as other game modes such as Dominion and Breach, is there anything in particular you feel is lacking in those two or what are some ways you'd like to see it enhanced in the future? Is there anyone else who feels Dominion and Breach should be looked at or think is fine as is?

Unfortunately, I can only really enjoy Dominion by playing casually in PVE, so that's what I do quite often for that mode...great way to level up your character and NOT throw your controller across the room. Then, play PvP in other modes on occasion rather than as the norm...much less frustration for a console player.

Taking a long break from a game can often be a good thing. This game is like any others, It has its good and bad sides like the light spamming Orochi's. Its easier to come back from a break and enjoy the game then to deal with the daily frustration that could come with it. I wish you luck man and dont blame you whatsoever for wanting to take a break.
