    It's such a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Lucky I’ve got a great pair of Astros then. The audio quality on them is amazing, the microphone sadly not so much but I’m keen to get them going on Hellblade.

I want to switch to a better one that uses fiber optic cables but that would require them to put a box outside and drill a new cable hole for my place. Which I don't think my landlord would go for.
TBH, it’s been dreadful. If I didn’t love playing Xbox as much as I did I would’ve quit playing online years ago. Thankfully the rollout of what we call the NBN (National Broadband network) that’s rolling out Fibre Optic to the curb for free, we just need to choose our company and plan once it becomes available. I aim to get the 100mbs package, if it’s too expensive probably 50mb which will feel amazing compared to what I’ve been playing with. My upload usually averages around 0.8-1.5 :/

I really don't want to burst your bubble, but ADSL2+ is largely enough for a good gaming experience (not for downloading / updating though). You really don't need more download speed than ~2 mbit/sec and an upload speed of 1 mbit/sec is largely enough for any online game. The necessary amount of mb/sec is pretty low for gaming as games do not need large amounts of bandwidth. If you had not enough bandwidth you would suffer alot of "packetloss" like behavior.

    Bandwidth ≠ Latency

And even a bad Latency would not cause your issue imo. I guess there are just not enough players in your region.

Playing with Tundra (USA, right?) will result in you having a pretty high latency (150-250ms depending on where the Ubi Servers are located and how good the routing is).

Guess you do learn something new everyday. I’ve always been used to having more trouble with online gaming than friends I’ve played with, like with For Honor I would DC a lot more than the people I played with, before dedicated servers and they all pretty much had faster internet speeds than myself so I always thought that it was because of poor download/upload speeds, and probably because my sister watches Netflix at the same time I played.

Yeah I wouldn’t think that latency would make matchmaking times take longer and cease to work all together.

Tundra is from Denmark, so a fair way from me at the bottom of Aus. I usually do alright on NA servers in other games, but it’s probably laggy as hell for the other players.

I live not so far from australia and i do have ADSL network of 6 mbs which is lower than yours

I don't have any of your problems at all , I enjoy the game with +70 latency

    My platform is PC .

I’ve noticed that Senuas sacrifice is on the Xbox game pass thing, and I’ve got a 14 day free trial for it waiting so I plan to use that and download it once I finish my play through of the Gears 3 campaign. I’m also expecting to get a boost to my internet sometime this month, so maybe finally we will have that game session we’ve been talking about for a year.
You could always outsource the construction of your cable internet to telecom companies and in doing so, create mini monopolies so you don't have any choice over your cable isp.

That works out really well here...

I found your problem. You're in Austrailia. In the Global Internet tech support manual it reads, "Being in Austrailia while playing online games... Don't do that."

It’s all the fault of our wildlife. They’re constantly killing off the people who go out to work on the broadband and installing the fibre cable, slowing down the process immensely. The life expectancy of these works is measured in minutes.
