Slightly longer for me to complete solo, 4 hours 20 minutes. Made a new 5 point deck as I don’t ever use Adventure and practiced & perfected it over 2 days before. Began at event start & played non stop until completion. Totally doable if you have the time and determination. Why? Just to see if I could. Worth it? Probably not, but I would do it again.
Forget professionalism with these guys. Such a great game to play - run by a pack of amateurs.Originally Posted by lister_infiji Go to original post
Now excuse me while I go check if that green font has been fixed yet.
And how many upgrade items, coins, tickets, bills or even real cash did this exercise cost you? Not even counting your precious 2 days of time. Let's say you had nothing better to do then either.Originally Posted by skidster1 Go to original post
Gotta agree with the majority of posts here. Announcing one completion goal and requiring a much larger goal is very unprofessional. Never mind my impending divorce after a hellish Sunday of grinding to complete, but the final solo packs were lackluster at best. Since the point requirement was announced at 100, but was actually 50% larger, I feel like any player hitting the 100oint mark should get additional packs... maybe 2-3 final packs per person. Make this right fellas!
Since you asked, I did not spend any real cash or bills or tickets. I did spend coins and use upgrade items to improve the Adventure cards required for the event which is something I had plenty of as like I said I don't usually use Adventure theme cards. I only played constantly for the time needed to complete the event which was on my day off, the rest of the time was fitted around my daily life as usual. I really enjoy these type of events and welcome being able to try cards that I don't play all the time and develop new strategies. In fact, I have continued to use the deck even after the event was complete and now have over 400 event points. Again, for no reason other than it has been fun. This is not meant as a boast, I am not like that. I merely want to inform the community that it was completely possible.
So, 4hr20min ... what rank where you at starting the event and what rank are you know ? Probably you started very low ? And what you are going to do now, by winning constantly you have to be much higher in the rank. Will you be constantly losing through the week so you can start again at a lower rank ? Then you should count this also to the time completing the event.Originally Posted by skidster1 Go to original post
Not complaining about the increased requirements, but complaining about the misinformation.Originally Posted by wallaRex4075 Go to original post
Most people do have other things to do with their weekends and not just sit and play SPPD all day long. As such I check the requirements and then plan out what time I can give to SPPD during my weekend. In this case, based on the information we were provided, my planned start time was around midday on Saturday (approx 24 hours after event start), allowing myself enough time to complete the event without having to excessively grind.
Needless to say by the time I come to play on Saturday, finding out at that point they have changed the requirements without informing us, I was basically f*cked. 100% avoidable with proper communication from Redlynx.
In fact people complain when we don't get these weekly posts in time (which is justified), but misinformation is even worse than no information. As such we would have been better off if this post was never created and we had not been informed of any requirements, rather than what we have received here.
